There was a huge gap between the first poem (Shipwreck) and the following ones where nothing was really forming. We're talking huge as in 2 years without writing anything worthwhile - writer's block really does happen! It seems I'm back to writing again although with a different style.
We'll see for how long it continues for this time before I go braindead again :)
In case anyone is wondering,neither "If" or "Without/Without" are poems. They're not linked back to any other pages so I've bunged them on at the top of the list so just use your back buttons please, the rest of the poems are linked to each other.
20/8/99 - I decided a few weeks ago to stop writing.
I don't view it as a defeatist attitude but rather
that nothing seems to inspire me at the moment and
forcing yourself to write is a waste of time and energy.
The results are poor and unsatisfactory (not that the
rest of my stuff is amazing ;)). Anyways, if the mood or
passion strikes me in the future I'll start writing again.
