Arwen
Undomiel was born in the year 241 of the Third Age. She is the Evenster of her
people and is know for her dark beauty which is rare among elves. In the
year 2951 she met and fell in love with Aragorn in the forests of Imladris.
In the year 2980 they plighted their troth upon Cerin Amroth in Lothloríen.
Because she is an elf and he a man she must give up her immortality to marry
him. After the end of the War of the Rings, on Mid-Years Day in 3019 Arwen
married Aragorn in Gondor and together they lived happily for many years.
She had one son, Eldarion. She also had daughters, but it is not said how
many. Elanor the Fair, daughter of Sam Gamgee, became her handmaid.
After the death of Aragorn in 1541, she said farewell to her children and
journeyed to Loríen where no elf yet lived. She stayed there for the
winter and as spring drew near she was laid to rest upon Cerin Amroth.

"Hon
mabathon. Rochan ellint im."(I'll take him. I'm the faster
rider.)

"I
would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the Ages of this world
alone."

"The
light of the Evenstar does not wax and wane. It is mine to give to whom I
will. Like my heart."

"There
is still hope."
