UUFR's Full Moon WomanCircle is an open group of shared leadership that provides opportunities to develop ritual and to celebrate our lives and our connection with the sacred feminine. Women of all ages Maiden, (those who have started their moon cycle or are at least 13 years of age), Mother, and Crone, women of all colors, differently-abled, straight, lesbian and bisexual women are all welcome. Group ethics in the Circle promote love, acceptance, confidentiality and safety. We resist the urge to criticize each other, to be judgmental or competitive. We place a very high value on actively supporting the efforts of each woman to discover her unique spiritual self. The joys & responsibilities of planning the ritual are rotated between individuals or small groups of women. In this way, we all have the opportunity to participate without it being a burden on any one person. Participation includes the graceful arts of preparing the space beforehand and clean-up afterward.
