AGCSWF Highlight ReelReported by: Shawn M. Montgomery ...Crash kicked Big R in the back of the knee, then set him up and landed the Cymbal for the win. As Big R limped away Crash grabbed a mic and said, "You know Linda, we were quite excited about where the ETE was going; we thought that you had gotten off of your hypocritical high horse and come down to reality, in fact we began thinking of you as a person instead of an overbearing boss. That was sick what you did to Razor. "Now I know that we have done some pretty sick things over the past year, but everything that we did, every betrayal that took place, every gain we made took place in this arena, and in this very ring. We never screwed with anyone's life outside of this arena, we never put blemishes on anyone's permanent records, the fact is Mrs. Linda, you crossed the line. Also, you terminated the contract with the Black Vamp - what's with that? You know, Linda, I would like to be informed when you're planning to fire one of my characters..." With that, the ETE's music played as Linda came out with the Favorites, again holding the briefcase. "Crash," Linda started, "as I said to The New Group, you will eventually thank me." Crash interrupted, "You sicken me, you piece of trash. You invaded our privacy, not only that but you have lied, you have made me very upset, but more than me you have upset someone else..." Razor's music blared and the former champion rose out of the crowd, this time without his cast, to join Crash in the ring. "What's wrong Linda," Razor started, "are you scared? Give me a break! You know that I am not a threat to you and that there is nothing wrong or 'incriminating' in that file of yours. In fact, maybe you're just scared. Scared that everyone may find out how much of a fake you are." "So Linda," Crash said, "I'm here to solve your main event problem for Lovefest. How about a tag team ladder match? You know, I figured since half of the trash in those files is mine anyway, it should be me and Razor against two of your goons, say Grant and 'Big R' in a tag team ladder match. The prize: the files. Suspend your precious briefcase over the ring and put it all on the line. You have screwed Razor over for no reason and you know it; this is the least you can do. In fact, you guys will even have the weight/power advantage." Linda looked at Grant and 'Big R' and then said, "All right, Crash, you're on -- but if we win, you two will be immediately arrested and escorted from the arena...and these files will be used to screw your lives up forever." "Fair enough," Razor spat, and with that all parties returned to their respective locker rooms to plan an attack. Highlights from the February 2000 AGCSWF PPV, Lovefest: Reported by: Christian Crawford ...The two Renegades members, Razor and Crash, started out the match with a double-team clothesline on Grant; this was followed by a spinning side kick to "Big R" from Razor. But The Favorites would not be outdone so easily, as Grant got back up to his feet, hit Razor with a backbreaker, then grabbed him and held the former World champion over his head, dumping him face-first into a nearby ladder. As both Razor and the ladder went tumbling backwards, Crash took revenge on Grant by nailing him with a piledriver. Razor then rolled out of the ring and grabbed a metal lunch tray, returning to slow Big R down with a decisive smash to the forehead. Crash set up one of the ladders directly underneath the suspended briefcase and began to climb, but as he did, Grant recovered and started to climb up along with him. Near the top of the ladder, the two hated enemies got into a back-and-forth fistfight; however, Grant was given the advantage when Big R climbed up halfway and delivered a low blow to Crash. It looked like The Favorites were going to win the match as Grant continued to climb and reach for the briefcase, but just then Razor seized his opportunity and nailed the ladder with a flying dropkick from the top rope. All three competitors came crashing down to the mat, along with the ladder, which landed right on the helpless Grant and split his face open. The first blood of this match had been drawn, and a furious Big R reacted violently, grabbing Razor and bodyslamming him onto the ladder without thinking of the fact that Grant was still underneath it. As Grant and Razor rolled around in pain, Crash kicked Big R in the gut and hit the Cymbal onto a folding chair. Crash then set up the ladder a second time, but instead of climbing it, he picked it up over his head and dumped it onto Big R. The Renegades member placed a metal lunch tray over Big R's face, came off the top rope with a flying elbow, and landed perfectly, bending the tray over Big R's head and effectively taking him out of the match for good. Grant, on the other hand, was still far from finished, and he nailed Crash with the PrepDrop as soon as he turned around. With Razor still lying on the canvas, Grant set up another ladder and started to climb towards the briefcase once again. But halfway up, Grant got his foot caught between two badly bent rungs and could not move. As "The Gentleman" attempted to free his trapped foot, Razor shocked the crowd by climbing the ropes again and hitting a long-range, flying cross body-block; he slammed into the side of the ladder chest-first and tipped it over, where it landed with a sickening sound on Grant's twisted leg in the middle of the ring. With Big R unconscious and Grant having suffered a knee injury, Razor and Crash were free to set up the ladder and climb to the top together, grabbing onto the briefcase at the same time and falling backwards to the mat in relief at finally winning the exceedingly brutal match. All four competitor's faces were covered in blood as Commisioner Linda made her way to the ring and began to admonish Grant and Russell for losing the match. As soon as Linda turned around, however, she was hit with a standing side kick from Razor, after which she became the recipient of Crash's Cymbal through the announcers' table on the outside. The two victorious Renegades then left the ring together carrying the briefcase, leaving referees and officials to tend to Linda and what was left of The Favorites. Highlights from the October 2nd, 2000 AGCSWF Live Show: Reported by: Christian Crawford ...In the next-to-last bout of the evening, Matt Roberts, the AGCSWF Hardcore champion who had yet to be pinned more than once in his career, took on the former European champ, Bryce Aaron Curtis. Matt was not accompanied by Dane Gammon, as Dane was preparing for a match of his own against Chad "Jitterbug" Martinac, but Bryce's valet Candie Hansen tagged along and waited outside the ring. Once Matt had completed his pre-match ritual of setting up a folding table for his signature chokeslam, he went after the challenger with a clothesline and a gutbuster. Candie frowned in disapproval as Bryce's head was repeatedly bounced off of a nearby turnbuckle, but she smiled when Bryce turned the situation around by kicking Matt in the groin and punching him in the mouth. The Hardcore champ was then decimated with several elbow smashes in the corner; however, he suddenly sprang back to life, grabbing Bryce around the throat, lifting him high into the air (which was no small feat considering Bryce's size), and driving his opponent through the table a few feet away. This took the crowd by surprise, as Bryce had previously had the match under control. The referee logged the three-count and awarded Matt the victory, but out of nowhere, Nathan Bonner stormed the ring, striking the champion in the knee and then in the head with his baseball bat. It wasn't long before Nathan had rendered Matt almost completely helpless, and as Bryce slowly pulled himself from the wreckage of the table, he too became a victim of Nathan's aggression. Highlights from the November 11th, 2000 AGCSWF Show: Reported by: Christian Crawford ...The fans suddenly erupted into raucous cheers as Andrew McShane, the most-loved superstar in the entire lightheavyweight division, made his way to the ring with a microphone in his hand. "I know I've never said much of anything before," Andrew said, "but the AGCSWF was kind enough to give me some TV time, and I'm going to make the best of it. Chad Ehrmann, you good-for-nothing lowlife, this whole situation with you dominating the Lightheavyweight title has to come to an end. The only reason you haven't been pinned yet is because you constantly cheat to win your matches. It doesn't matter anymore, though, because you're looking at the man who is finally going to put that first pinfall over you and take the title from around your waist." Once more the crowd began to cheer, then stopped when Andrew began talking again. "You've only got one week left to enjoy your status as the champion, so I suggest you live it up while you still can. Whether you like it or not, Federation officials have ruled that you are undeserving of the belt, and they've granted me one more title match for seven days from now. When I get in the ring with you, Chad, I'm going to tear you apart and restore some prestige to the strap, and if you even think about using your brass knuckles, you won't live to regret it." Having said everything that he needed to say, Andrew gave his microphone to ringside commentator George Edgerly and went backstage.
