Welcome to the Smashing Pumpkins room. They will eventually have seperate rooms, cuz they are really getting sick of sleeping in the same bed and sharing a room. But I can only work so fast. Billy, D'Arcy & James welcome you, even if they are crabby about their room.
This will eventually contain Smashing Pumpkins songs, tabs, thoughts, and whatevers. If you love them, like them, or hate them(die you bastard!), then drop me an Email with some personal reflections, thoughts, or cares. I tend to know quite a bit about them so I may be able to answer questions as well.
Further down the page is a list of the Major-label releases by the Smashing Pumpkins. The band is, and always has been, on Virgin Records America. The only thing that wasn't was their first single, which I believe was Rhinoceros, was released on Caroline Records. But, since Virgin owns Caroline, it's all the same. I know that some Gish albums came out under the Caroline name, and others under the Virgin name, but it's all the same now.

The Pumpkins supposedly have a drummer now. I think he is some old guy who used to drum with John Fogerty. He teaches at a music school, and I am sure he is good if he can adapt to the drumming styles of others and the ever-evolving sound of the SP. The new album "Adore" is supposed to be out at the end of May.

I picked up "Adore" at 12 midnight on the "morning" of June 2nd, 1998. A fine piece of work. Check back later after I have had time to listen, analyze, and bathe in it more.
"Adore" kicks my ass good......it is what(i'm not kidding) i "heard" in my head when i started thinking of the "new sound" or whatever the hell the mass media is calling the Pumpkins these days.........i am listening to it and them everyday until after the free show in Minneapolis this friday, July 17th. Tis all i have to say.

These are some pics i obtained from the show in minneapolis....it was a good show. Kenny Arnoff(?spelling?) did an excellent job on the drums.
