  • The Vikings' 5th straight trip to the playoffs is the 2nd-longest consecutive playoff season streak in team history. Only the 1973-78 Vikings (6 seasons) made the post-season more consecutive seasons than the 1996-2000 Vikings.    
  • The Vikings hosted a playoff game in three consecutive seasons for only the 2nd time in team history (1973, '74, '75).    
  • The Vikings set a season-long home attendance record for an eight-game home season with 513,322 in 2000, topping the mark set in 1999 at 513,051. The 1998, '99 and '00 Vikings are the only teams in club history to draw over half-a-million fans to their home games.
