My Son
Today my son I found out
That you have a disease
This disease is called "Diabetes"
One that will stay with you for eternity
Throughout your time you roam upon earth
At first I feared I would loose you
Because you could not speak
For you were in a coma you see
And this added to my grief
Then all at once my fears relieved
When you came back to me
And together we will be here
To face this matter without any fear
For God has seen fit you let you stay here with me
