As Darien approached the two girls that Serena had pointed out he now noticed Amy was there also.
“Hi! I’m Darien, you must be the girls Serena ran over when she came in.” Laughing at the blushing Serena Lita stuck her hand out and said, “ Hi I’m Lita.” And when she shook hands Darien grunted at the strength she had.
“Hi, Darien I’m Ray.” Ray said smiling at the handsome man in front of her. Serena looked at Darien to see if he noticed what she did that, they seemed familiar to him to. When he caught her eye they said he got the same feeling too.
“So Are you girls going to join Serena, Amy, and I for an ice cream???”
“Sure!”
“Love to! Thanks!”
As they walked towards the table Darien grabbed Serena’s hand and strolled over to an empty one. Everyone had a seat, Darien and Serena on one side, Lita, Amy, and Ray on the other.
“So Lita, Ray how’d you guys meet?” Serena asked after they had ordered.
“Well, I was walking the road towards the mall and theses guys came out and tried to take my purse when suddenly Lita came out from behind a tree and started wailing these guys! I was totally amazing, she whooped 4 guys at once and she was barely out of breath!” Blushing Lita glanced down as Ray described what happened. “From then on we’ve been good friends, we kinda idunno, I guess we clicked”
“I know that feeling, when I bumped into Amy a while ago, I felt like I knew her! And than you guys! Boy doesn’t it feel like we know each other?”
Glancing at one another Amy, Lita, Ray, and Darien looked at Serena with amazed looks.
“How….”
“Did….”
“You….”
“Know….”
“That??” they all finished together.
“Know what?”
“What we were all thinking?” Lita said.
“Did you say something to her?” Amy asked Darien
“No! I though you did.” Darien said as he looked at Amy and then the girls around him.
“ I’ve had that feeling since I ran into Darien (Serena blushed and looked down) and then again when I ran into Amy this morning.” Serena said with a wide-eyed look.
“Geez, Meatball head do you run everyone over?” Ray said, then looked really guilty and said, “ Oh gee Serena I’m sorry! I don’t know where that came from!!!! Please don’t be mad!”
As Serena started to look unhappy, the rest of the table burst out laughing.
“Hey! It’s not funny!” Serena said, trying to look mad.
“If you say so Meatbal…um Serena.” Lita said trying not to laugh also.
“Oh” and then everyone was laughing.
“Hey!!! Sere!!!! There you are! I was waiting for you at school! Why weren’t you there???” A blonde haired girl came running towards. What amazed everyone is how much she looked like Serena except, her hair was down and she had a red bow in her hair.
“Mina!!!!” scrambling over Darien, Serena raced over to Mina to hug her and start gossiping about what she missed. When they turned around Serena blushed as four pairs of eyes were trained on her and her cousin.
“Um, Darien, Lita, Ray, Amy I’d like you to meet my Cousin Mina Aino as we call her. Mina I’d like you meet Ray Hino, Lita Kino, Amy Munzo, and Darien Chiba.” Serena said as she pointed each one in turn.
“Hi you guys!!! Mind if I join you??”
“Sure!”
“Welcome.”
“Whatever”
“Your Serena cousin???” Darien said after staring at Mina, then his gaze landed on Serena and she blushed under his studying.
“Darien! Of course, why would I say she was if she wasn’t????” Laughing Serena sat down beside Darien again and Mina moved in beside her.
“it’s just, I, well I figured you were sisters. I mean you look alike!” Darien said while looking back and forth between the two. Laughing at what he said, Serena said, “Our Mothers were identical twins”
“Scary huh?” Serena said while raising her eyebrows.
“Yeah truly” Darien gasped.
“Anyway, so back to our conversation. How did you know what we were thinking Serena?” Ray asked as she looked at the other girls and Darien.
“I truly don’t know. I mean When I meet Muff..umm..er Darien,(Serena was blushing at her mistake of calling Darien Muffin “where did that come from?” she asked herself) I just started to remember things and I could have swore I knew him. Then, Amy came along and it was like I totally knew her. But, with you two it’s different it was like I knew I had to meet you, so I left Darien and Amy and ran up here and of course, I bumped into you two strange huh?”
“Yeah, I know what you mean Meatball, When I met Lita it was like we were meant to be friends. We totally clicked and well, when we meet you and you finished Lita’s sentence, I got this feeling like we knew you too. And the same thing with Amy, Darien, I think even with Mina. I idunno I feel like she’s apart of us.”
Everyone looked at Ray as she finished and then glanced around at everyone.
Mina looked and then she spoke, “Maybe I’m crazy but, I feel like Ray is right. I don’t know why either, I mean I just meet everyone but, Serena and yet I feel like this is, was meant to be. Like were supposed to be friends.”
Mina looked down and blushed but, when she looked up she noticed they weren’t laughing at her they were agreeing.
“Here you go guys! Enjoy!” Andrew came over and dropped off everyone’s order.
“Um..Andrew, could I get a cheeseburger, some fries, a shake, and well a triple scoop fudge and banana ice cream!”
“Sure Mina no prob.” Andrew said as if she ordered it everyday (everyone else had a huge sweat drop).. and between her and Serena they had twice that much when they came in together.
“Thanks Andrew. So um.. anyway what were talking about?” Mina said looking down.
“ I think we were agreeing that if feels like we now each other.”
Ray, Amy, Lita, Mina, and Darien looked at Serena as she gobbled her food down. A snicker escaped someone’s lips and then the whole table was laughing as Serena blushed and looked down at her now empty plate.
“Hey, it was good! You don’t have to laugh!” Serena said with her nose in the air.
About that moment, Mina’s food came and the moment it was sat down in front of her, Andrew snatched his hand away with practiced ease as Mina attacked her food with as much fervor as Serena. Serena and Mina continued eating as their group looked at them.
“My god, they’re gonna choke!” Lita said as she sipped her drink
“How can they eat so much?” Amy said trying to analyze them.
“Oh, don’t worry about them, this is actually slow for them..see by now it would have all been gone, but their ice cream is still there.” Andrew said as he scooted in beside Mina. Who suddenly blushed as Andrew sat beside her. Slowing down she glanced at Serena (who still attacked her food like she was starving) “Sorry bout that guys, as you can see, I kindaeatreallyfastbecauseitwasgoodandSerenaandIalwayseatthisfast.” Mina said as she rushed the last little bit blushing.
“Everyone, I think we need to go talk somewhere else. I have you ask you a question and I don’t think we need to be around people.” Ray said as she looked at everyone.
“Sure.” Mina said, gobbling the rest of her food in record time along with Serena, Lita, Ray Amy, and Darien.
On the way to Ray’s temple Darien and Serena held hands and walked close to each other as Lita, Ray, Amy and Mina all talked and got to know each other. As they approached the temple a groaned escaped everyone’s lips, except for Ray who was used to it, when they saw all the temples steps.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH do I have to climb all those????” Serena wailed.
“Shut-up meatball head!!!!” everyone yelled at the same time, just as Serena turned on the waterworks, but instead of whining louder was stunned into silence.
“I-I-I-I’m sorry you guys..but geez did you have to call me meatball head?” Serena said sniffling.
“Oh I’m sorry Sere, it just came out!” Mina said as she hugged her cousin tightly.
“Yeah me to Serena I don’t know why I said that.” Amy said as she blushed and hugged Serena and Mina.
“I’m sorry Serena!” Lita said joining in on the hug
“Me too Mea..um Serena. I’m sorry” Ray said and joined in too, knowing they needed each other right now, but not knowing why.
Darien on the other hand, watched until the moment was over and gave Serena great big hug all to her self and whispered in her ear, “Sorry Meatball head” Coming from Darien Serena didn’t get upset or mad… instead she blushed a bright red and lowered her eyes to the ground and clasped his hand tighter.
“All right you guys let’s get up top so we can talk.” Ray said as she bounded up the step with the rest of them staggering behind.
“OK (gasp) I’m (gasp) here (gasp) can (gasp) we (gasp) rest (gasp) for a (gasp) moment????” Serena said as crawled to the top of the stairs. A burst of giggles came from the four girls who sat on a bench staring at the beraggled Serena, as she lay on the top step gasping for breath. Darien walked over to her and picked her up like a bride and carried her over to the still laughing girls.
“Hey! You guys (wheeze) it’s not funny (wheeze) I’m out of shape!!” Serena said snuggling into Darien’s embrace looking at the girls.
“All right let’s get inside and I’ll have Chad get us some tea and homemade cakes.” Ray said as she walked towards the open door. Suddenly a cloud of dust swept by her making her cough and she wildly blinks her eyes to see what it was. Glancing around she noticed Darien chuckling and no Serena in sight. When Ray looked back towards the open door to the temple there sat Serena sitting down on the mat waiting for the tea and food with hearts in her eyes as she waits for everyone else.
“Meatball head! It’s amazing how fast you can move when food is involved and yet it took you 10 minutes to get up those steps! You just ate!”
Blushing Serena looked down at her hands and then back to Ray and suddenly smiled.
“I know it’s horrible but, my stomach is soo demanding and I have to answer it!”
Throwing her hands in the air Ray laughed and plopped down beside her and started talking to the girl who could so freely befriend the people she had met.
“So are you always like this?” Ray piqued
“So my friends say, I just like people. I see the good in everyone, and when I see someone I like well, I have to get to know them! I’d feel tragic if I let a friendship go unnoticed when it could be the best one I’ve ever had.” Serena stated and then turned to chat with all the others that had finally made it inside the temple. Ray looked at the girl beside her and started to get that feeling again. Finally Amy stood up and cleared her throat, “ Well, I guess I’ll start. Since you know my name I won’t say it again. As you all know we are here due to the circumstances of all meeting a person who seemed to inspire something with-in each one of us and yet we all seem to know each other and share a sense of a relationship. I suggest discuss these feelings as we analyze them and try to find out how each of us know each other and why this feeling of friendship and safety has claimed us and what we should do about it.”
All the others except Darien had a dumb founded look on their faces, especially Serena Mina looked up and calmly said, “ Amy, I have absolutely no idea what you just said..could you repeat it in plain English??”
Sighing Amy looked at each of them and said, We need to talk to find out why we all feel like we know each other.”
“ Happy?” Amy said looking towards Mina.
“Oh yes, That’s much better!” Mina said as she fell silent trying to figure out where she might have seen any of them except for Serena.
“Hmm….” Lita said as she glanced at all of them.
“Mercury, duck!! Jupiter Thunder Crash!!!!! Take that Jerk!!!!!”
“Serena don’t eat all the cookies!! Save some for the other scouts!!!!!”
“Mina, Look, guy alert!”
“Ray, what did the fire tell you? Is there a new enemy?”
“huh, whoa..weird” Lita said as she tried to figure out her flash back. “Those words though.. they seem so familiar, Mercury? Jupiter Thunder Crash?”
Shaking her head Lita sat back and began to study her new friends.
Meanwhile Mina was glancing to Serena and Darien trying to understand the feeling she knew they were feeling. “How do I know they’re Soul mates??”
“Lita!!!! Look at that guy, OH MY GOD!! HE’S SOOO HOT!!!!!!”
“Mars! Behind you! Venus Love chain Encircle!”
“Serena, your soul mates, he loves you I can tell. Has the V-babe ever lied to you?”
“Amy! Put that book down! We’re supposed to be having fun!”
“V-babe? Venus Love chain Encircle..hmm, weird” Mina then sat noticing her new friends and studying them quietly and tried to figure out what she knew and why.
Amy was looking at the four girls and one guy around her and sighed. Trying to clear her mind and think of the present situation Amy glanced at her glanced of tea she had.
“Sailor Moon we have to do it together NOW!!!!!!! Mercury Bubbles..BLAST!!!!!!!!”
“Oh Mina, there’s more to the world than guys!”
“but, Lita, advance physics, is what I like to read. Why change?”
“Ray, what’s up with you and Chad?”
The feeling of a cold finger running down her spine when she mumbled the words “Mercury Bubbles Blast” was welcomed and she wondered what it meant. She wasn’t afraid of it, because it felt natural.
Ray was wondering why these girls and Darien made such good friends even though they’ve only known each other for such a short time.
“Yo Moonbrain!!! Quite crying and dust that creep!!! Mars fireball Charge!”
“Lita, this cake is Awsome!”
“Oh, Amy that dress is so darling!”
“Mina..Mina..MINA!!!!!! get you head out of the clouds!”
Ray stared at the girls around her noticing how they all seemed to be studying each other secretly, While Darien was watching Serena with adoration in his eyes.”
Darien looked around the temple and then started paying attention to the girls, as they each seemed to wonder about the ones around her.
“Serenity!!!! Please my love, fight for our future!”
“Mars, save your princess!”
“Becareful Scouts…this one is a real Negacreep.”
“Mercury! Where’s it’s weak spot?”
“Lita, this cheesecake is fabulous! What’s your secret?”
‘I don’t get these flashbacks. I’ve never had them till I met Serena….Serena” Darien said to himself as he glanced at the girl holding his hand.
Serena was holding Darien’s hand and glancing at him shyly out the corner of her eye when suddenly a though hit her. Glancing at the girls around her..
“Venus!!!!! Try your attack now!”
“Ray!!!!! I am not a crybaby! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
“Lita…you baked me a cake?”
“Amy..I don’t want to study!!!!!”
“Darien…I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you”
“Huh???” Serena jerked her head up as Ray stood up.
“OK everyone, Maybe it’s just me but it seems since I met you, Umm, well I’ve been getting these weird…”
“Flashbacks?” Amy said as she glanced at the others to confirm what Ray was saying. Nods of agreement and puzzlement flashed across their faces as they wondered how she knew.
“Well, I’m not physic, but I’ve never had flashbacks. It’s like..”
“I remember you guys from another life!” Mina said.
“Like we knew each other before and forgot.” Lita cut in.
“We’ve gone through this before.” Serena said.
“We’ve fought together.” Darien simply put it.
All the girls gasped and looked at him. Wondering how her knew. Ray finally looked at all the girls, cleared her throat and said, “Do any of you know what Mars fireball Charge is?????”
