Grinning Darien hugged her closer liking the feeling it gave him and smiled down at his mystery women and placed a finger on her lips, “ shh, little one, I will tell you later.”
Startled Serena started to reply except she looked into his eyes and saw complete trust, instead her only reply was to snuggle closer to him and try to think of why this felt so right.
Darien glanced down at the girl and a feeling of completeness swept through him. Stroking her hair he inhaled and felt her shift towards the crook of his arm. Shifting over he placed her on the side of the couch and put her arm around her waist and she placed her head on his shoulder. Suddenly a sharp pain lanced through his head and he remembered why. The armrest and his hurtling through the air came back to him and laughter bubbled up from deep with in.
Serena was content she realized as she rested her head on his chest. Suddenly his laughter split the silence in two and when she glanced up at him she realized tears of mirth were streaming down his face. “ Oh muffin, are you ok??” (muffin? Where did that come from???) Blushing she looked down realizing what she had said and thinking, “I don’t even know his name.”
(Muffin???) Darien thought….glancing down at the girl she blushed and looked way,” She must have realized what she had just said” Darien thought to himself getting up from the couch carefully, Darien said, “I have to get some aspirin, do you want anything?”
“Yo..Um..No um.. No Thanks.” She stammered looking down as she caught herself. Grinning Darien slipped into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water and two Aspirin. Gulping in down Darien peeked into the living room noticing her glancing around and smiled to himself. “ I wonder who she is? She’s so beautiful.” “ Hey Darien!” that tiny voice called, “ You don’t even know her name and you just met her and already your head over heels for her! Think about what you saying!!!” “Shut-up! I don’t know why I feel like this, she’s just…it feels so right to have her in my arms, to hold her again..wait again? What am I saying I just met her!” shaking his head he dismissed both voices and walked back into the room to talk to his mystery women.
Serena glanced down as she mumbled to herself, “Yo..Um..No um.. No Thanks.” “ How stupid could you be? You just met him! You don’t even know his name for Goddess sake!” “Goddess?? Where did that come from?” Shaking her head to clear out the voices she noticed him watching her from across the room with a slightly confused expression on his face. Startled Serena got up to see if he was OK, instead she tripped over her shoelace (which had mysterious came untied) and went flying towards him for the third time that day.
As she came hurtling towards him Darien reached out once again this time he was ready to catch this angel who was destine to be on the ground. What he didn’t anticipate was that somehow the table had moved and as he grabbed her he went flying and landed with an thud once again on the ground with her on top….Grinning at the girl Darien smiled and said, “ Well, I seem to be falling for you.”
When Serena looked up she was afraid, he would call her a klutz and yell, but, instead he just smiled down at her and said, “ Well, I seem to be falling for you” Serena felt her heart skip a beat. Giggling Serena looked up into those eyes and said, “ I could say the same for me.” Blushing she looked down and realized once again, just where she was. Placing her hands on his chest she tried unsuccessfully to sit up but failed because he was on her skirt. “Umm…I don’t think I can get up” Serena said and gulped and he smiled down at her.
“Umm…I don’t think I can get up” Darien heard as he looked into her eyes lost. “ Oh, um..right. hang on.” A giggle answered him, “As if I have a choice huh?” Frowning because he didn’t want her to get up. As he raised his back to get he skirt his hand grazed her legs and he blushed. A feeling of electricity passed between his hand and her leg. Looking at her he moved his hand up farther until he reached her mid-back. As he lost himself once again in those eyes, Darien moved head in her direction until they were millimeters apart.
“ Um….I don’t even know you name” Serena whispered as her head moved towards his.
“ Darien Chiba” Darien mumbled closing the space between them. Reaching forwards with his hands to hold her closer to him. As their lips met in heated passion Darien surprised himself as he gripped her even closer.
Serena was surprised as his lips took hers but, willing gave herself to him and thought of his name. “Darien, Darien, that name sounds so familiar.” Suddenly flashbacks of a barrage of ice and four girls surrounding her and a bright white light. Gasping Serena pulled back from Darien and looked at his startled expression.
“ I’m so sorry I don’t know what came over me!” Darien stuttered for when they kissed Darien had seen what she saw. “The four girls and the light.” Looking into her eyes he wondered what was going on in that beautiful head of hers. Her eyes were wide and frightened as she reached up to stroke his chin and moving up to swept the hair once again from his eyes this motion seemed to calm her.
Serena worriedly looked at this handsome man named Darien, and smiled “ I wasn’t startled because of the kiss….I liked that” Serena blushed and looked at his chest “ I was just startled by something I think I remembered.”
Looking into her eyes Darien saw true fear and knew right then just what to do. Gripping her shoulders Darien moved to pull her into a sitting position. As he placed his hands on her hips she jumped a bit and giggled at where his hands were. “ Come on…”
“Serena” (what a beautiful name) “Come on than Serena, Let’s go get ice cream!”
Serena heard the word Ice cream and well. lit up. Bouncing all over the place she grabbed Darien’s hand and said, “ ohhh, Ice Cream?? Really???”
“Come on let’s go!” As they raced down the street to the Arcade, Darien in the lead Serena challenged him to a race. Off they went speeding down the road when Darien took the lead. Serena, not to be out done, speed up around the corner when BAM!!!!!! Serena hit something and they both went sprawled on top of each other. “ Oh I’m soo sorry! I’m soo sorry, are you OK?”
A dazed girl with blue hair stared at the girl in front of her. Glancing the girl over she recognized sincerity in her graze and then noticing the strange hair style Amy had to smile.
“ Oh yes, I’m perfectly fine! Are you OK?”
Grinning happily Serena said. “ I’m fine, I’m used to the ground! Hey you look familiar! What’s your name, I’m Serena! What are you doing now??”
Laughing Amy smiled at he happy girl, “ Hi Serena I’m Amy Munzo, Have we met? Nothing I was going to go the library, you?”
“Oh Darien and I were about to go get some Ice cream. Want to join us?”
“Sure! If Darien says it’s OK.”
Glancing down Darien sees Serena looking up with those big beautiful eyes and quickly agrees. Hiding a grin behind her hand, Amy can tell Serena has Darien wrapped around her little finger.
“Oh goody!!!!!” Serena said, bouncing up and down. Gabbing Darien and Amy’s hands Serena skipped lightly down the road to the Crown Arcade but, released them when she felt she should be there now.
“Hey you guys, I have to get to the Arcade, I’ll meet you there!” and took off running.
Laughing at these antics Amy glanced at a bewildered Darien and thought. Like Serena she got a feeling she knew him. “So Darien, How long have you and Serena been going out?”
“Huh? We’re not, I just met her this morning, she ran me over.” Grinning sheepishly Darien looked at Amy.
“Really? I though you guys were going out, it appears as if you really like Serena.”
Blushing at her blunt words, Darien replied, “Nope, just met her, although I had the feeling that I knew her, and you too for the matter. Although it seems as if there is something or somebody missing. Someone else that supposed to be here.”
“Sorry didn’t mean to ramble.”
“That’s okay Darien, I get that feeling all the time, More often lately I’ll get around someone or something and this feeling of sorrow, or longing comes over me. Serena said, I looked like someone she knew, where in reality I was about to ask her the same thing, I feel as if I know her.”
“As far as I can tell Serena has that personality, when I bumped into her and we went …umm,” A blushing Darien stopped than went on. “ Well, lets just say I fell for her *g* and it does seem like we know each other.”
By the time Darien and Amy had reached the Arcade, Serena was chatting with two other girls and Andrew. “Hi Andrew!” Darien waved as he entered.
“Hey Darien!” Andrew looked up from his conversation with the excitable Serena and went over to Darien. “What brings you here? Didn’t you have to stay after to study?”
“Well” sheepish grin, “ I didn’t go today, I kinda got detained.” Glancing at Serena Darien blushed.
“You know Serena?” Andrew asked.
“We’ll let’s say I kinda ran into her this morning. And we..um… I didn’t go to school today.”
Laughing Andrew glances over at the girls he had just met, through Serena, and back to Darien. “She’s a walking time bomb. Just moment ago she came barreling in here and ran those girls, Ray and Lita, over. Poor girls huh?”
Darien wasn’t listening though, he went off into his own world as soon as he heard the girls names.
“Darien? Earth to Darien? Are you even listening to me??????” Waving his hands in front of Darien’s face Andrew finally got him out of his trance
Grinning, “Opps sorry Andy, I was off in my own little world.”
“That was obvious, what happened?”
“I don’t know, first I meet Serena and then Bam! These names and people I don’t know start getting together and I remember them..I think..and yet, I’ve never met them..know what I mean?”
(large sweat drop) “Err..um..Dare, I gotta go t work..but, man, you need to get out more and quit reading those books!”
“Hey Darien! Come on over here you gotta meet Lita and Ray!!!!!!!!!” Serena yelled.
“Bye, Andy!”
“Bye Dare!”
“Ohh Ice cream! I can’t wa…Ahhhhhhhh” Serena flew towards the ground “again”she thought but, was once again cushioned by someone else. “ I’m sooo sorry Oh I’m sorry!” Serena said trying to untangle herself from what felt like a couple of arms and legs.
“Thanxks Ray! But, I’m not the ground!”
“Jeez Lita get off of me you weight a ton!”
“Hey thanks you’re not a light weight yourself you know!” Serena couldn’t help it, she burst out laughing because they sounded like they were good friends and having fun arguing.
“Hey!” they yelled in unison.
Serena stopped and started to apologize again for running into them but stopped when they gave her a weird look and then looked at each other.
“Do I know you?” asked the girl with brown hair, the one named Ray called Lita.
“Hey! Lita I was about to ask her the same question!” the one called Ray said.
“No, I don’t think so, but you seem familiar. I’m Serena Tsukino.” Serena shook her hand and noticed Lita and Ray exchanged glances but then smiled and both offered their hands.
“I’m Ray Hino”
“ I’m Lita Kino”
“Hey My friends and I were about to have some Ice Cream would you guys like to join????”
“Sure, in just one sec, I’m gonna call my mom.”
“Lita!, Hey Serena I’ll be right there.” Ray ran to catch Lita.
“Lita did you feel what I felt about her, Like I knew her?”
“Yeah, weird huh?”
“Uh-huh, come on though lets head back!”
As they entered they saw Serena talking to the cute guy who worked at the Arcade.
“Wow, Ray that looks like my..” Ray clamped her hand over the mouth because they were almost to Serena. When they reached her Serena whispered to Lita, “ Hey I bet your thinking he looks like your old boyfriend.”
A cold wind blew at her and the Nega-creep came at her Princess, Serena!, and right before she struck Lita pushed her out the way and instead risked her life for Serena.
“ Defeat the Queen! Only you can do it!”
“Whaaa…huh? How’d you know that?” Lita whispered
“Hi Andrew!” Darien waved as he entered.
“Hey Darien!” Andrew looked up from his conversation with the excitable Serena and went over to Darien. As Andrew walked away Lita, Ray, and Serena gathered around closer and when Lita repeated her question, Serena looked strange.
"I don’t know, I just kinda knew it, it was in the back of my head and I said it out loud.” Ray looked at Serena and said, “But, you just met her!”
“ I know but, for some strange reason I knew she was going to say that about Andrew, I get this strange.. well, never mind.” Serena looked down and blushed
“This strange feeling we know each other?” A voice said behind Serena. As the three girls turned around Amy stood there and Ray gasped, “Amy!” “H-h-how did you know my name?” Amy asked
“You moon brain you can’t do it by yourself!” Ray was screaming at Serena when Amy jumped in front of both of them and saved them from the Doom and Gloom girls. “Kill the Queen for us Serena only you can!!!!” “Mercury Bubbles Blast!!!!!!!! Take that Nega sleez!” were the last words that were heard as Serena embraced Ray one last time and took off. Ray followed her and saw the third Doom and gloom girl and knew what she had to do. “Hey Moonbrain!” she yelled, and right when Serena turned around to yell at her Ray pushed her aside and was caught by the girl and before she left her words to Serena were, “I love you! Now Kill the Queen!!!!!!!!!!” “ Mars, Fireball charge!!!!!!!”
“I don’t know.” Ray said, then mumbled “ What the heck is Mars Fireballs charge?” a feeling of familiarity raced up her spine. “weird.”
“Oh, I’m sorry Amy, I’m Ray, and this is Lita” Ray said as she turned to Amy once again.
Smiling Amy said “ Hi! My name is Amy Munzo.”
“Hi Amy!” Lita said as she looked at the blue haired girl trying to figure out if she knew her or not suddenly words came to her mind. “Jupiter Thunder crash?” Why does that seem like I should be saying it????? “Huh? Lita did you say something?” Serena asked.
“Nah, I was just mumbling about nothing.”
“OK”
“Hey Darien! Come on over here you gotta meet Lita and Ray!!!!!!!!!”
