MWF MichiganMania 3

November 3rd, 2001

Deformation

MichiganMania has always been the culmination at the end of every year. Of hard work that every wrestler puts forth to try and win a title. This year was unlike any other, as the talent on the roster had plenty of chances to set records and capture gold. Here are the results.

MichiganMania 3 Opening - Prodigies Promo
The Heavyweight & Intercontinental champs of MWF walked out on a warm day, the day the Prodigies and the rest of the roster was waiting for. Enigman started his promo by asking everybody else if they were there through it all. Enigman said he was there through it all, and nobody can deny that. Justin Sane followed up stating that despite his brief absence due to suspension, he is still the first, and best, wrestler to win every championship. He then asked who was the Heavyweight Champion after he got suspended...Enigman replied with a laugh, "Tony L". Justin Sane threw down the mic and the Prodigies left.

1st Match - Captain Wally F. War d. Tim
Tim, the generic restaurant Guy, came out. He called out Wally, said he was the one that stole Wally's shirt and suspenders...but the good news, was that Wally would be getting a new shirt. The Captain came out running and tore into Tim, full of anger. Wally soon thereafter nailed a brainbuster, but Tim managed to reach the ropes to escape a pinfall. Tim eventually fell to Wally's finishing move, Walking the Plank, and the Captain gained some sort of vengeance for having his prized outfit stolen from him by some low life.

Stax & Sweatpants/BCW Promo
Stax & Mofar came out first, proclaiming that they would win the Tag Team Friendship Friendsy match later for the tag team championships. BCW's tribal music hit right away, and out came Scourge & Rancore. They began their claim of dominance in tag team competition, when Stax interrupted them and wished luck to Rancore in the Hardcore Title Match, but in a very facetious way.

Gimmick Royal Rumble for Euro Title - Jay Are wins
Wally War, Vertigo, Tim & Mad Dawg started off this Royal Rumble for the extinct European Title. Only a few minutes into the match, Mad Dawg got the Slim Tim Press and was out. Tim got the Solitude from Enigman, but Wally jumped Enigman after the Solitude and made him Walk the Plank. Justin Sane came out and gave Wally War the Rubber Rooms. There was plenty of other action, with Jay Are coming out on top to win his record-setting 6th European Championship.

Official Stolen Name Match for the rights to 'Sweatpants' - Mofar & Scully d. Jackyl
Before the match, the Jackyl told everybody that he stole Sweatpants Mofar's identity, and he would be known from then on as Sweatpants Jackyl. Mofar and his friend Scully came out and destroyed the Jackyl, giving him multiple powerbombs and hurricanranas to achieve victory and the rights to his name were granted back to Mofar.

Tag Team Championship - Friendship Friendsy Match - Sweatpants Mofar Stax d. BCW
The two teams went right at it, tearing each other apart. Halfway into the match, a shock came as Scourge & Rancore used the Mofar Combo on Sweatpants! Stax & Sweatpants soon came back on top, with Mofar hitting a chokeslam and Stax with a 5-Time Splash. Stax DDT'd Mofar's head that turned into a low blow to Rancore, then followed up with a sit-down powerbomb onto him too. Stax went for the titles, but Scourge knocked them down. The BCW then tried for it too, but Stax hit Rancore down. Scourge then started to climb for the titles, but Mofar knocked him down, and the title fell right next to Rancore! Stax made a dive and grabbed it, making Sweatpants Mofar and Stax 3-time Tag Team Champions.

Hardcore Title - Rancore def. Biohazard & Mad Dawg
As soon as all 3 men were out, Rancore leveled both of them. Mad Dawg started to make a comeback, but got powerbombed through a piece of plywood by Biohazard. The big man from the unknown radioactive areas hit Rancore in the head with a chair, then splashed Mad Dawg. Rancore finally got up, trading blows with Biohazard, and got planted by a leaping spear from Biohazard. Biohazard hit his trademark spinning chokeslam on Mad Dawg, turned around and Rancore caught him with the Swing of the Axe, right on Mad Dawg! Rancore pinned both men to retain his Hardcore Title. After the Match, Mad Dawg powerbombed Biohazard.

Intercontinental Title - Justin Sane d. Scourge
Justin Sane nailed a spinebuster early in the match, and began breaking down the submission expert and leader of the BCW. Sane and Scourge traded submission moves, reversal after reversal, when Scourge nailed a TKO and started taking over. Connecting with multiple suplexes, Scourge began working on Justin Sane's arm. After an arm bar, he got up and got the ladder, hitting Justin Sane with it. Scourge then went to get a chair, but Justin grabbed it. Instead of trying to get it back, Scourge merely got another chair, and they battled for supremacy of the Intercontinental Championship.

Scourge started to come on top, bringing in a table and expecting to put his opponent through it, when Justin rebounded with Rubber Rooms on a chair! Both men exhausted from the battle were out for a couple minutes, but Scourge managed to get up the ladder quicker then Justin, but instead of becoming 3-time IC Champ, Scourge got thrown through the table he put in the ring! Justin Sane spinebusted Scourge on the table, then locked him in a devastating submission move! He then climbed the ladder and secured the IC title for his own. Enigman came down to congratulate Justin, and Rancore came down to help Scourge. Scourge pushed Rancore away and pushed Enigman away from Justin Sane, and gave Sane a handshake as a sign of respect. Confused, Rancore walked away with Scourge, muttering. Justin Sane relinquished his win by dancing before leaving the ring.

Main Event - Heavyweight Title & Presidency (No Disqualification) - Enigman d. Vertigo & Stax
After everyone came out, Vertigo stood in the ring with Stax & Enigman on the outside. The big man told the two former teammates to just bring it, and they did, but Vertigo ducked their double clothesline attempt, then ran them both over with clotheslines of his own! Vertigo knocked out Stax, but Enigman caught Vertigo with a big clothesline. Stax bulldogged Enigman while he was offguard, then taunted to both athletes. While Enigman was attempting to make Stax submit, Vertigo came out of nowhere and gave him a huge spear and all men were down.

Vertigo was the first up, giving Stax a German Suplex and Enigman an Implant DDT. Stax & Vertigo battled back to the commentating table, where Stax gave Vertigo a Tornado DDT. Stax went to get Enigman, and tried throwing him into the commentator's table, only to have Enigman jump up onto it, turn around and give Stax an Enigmator! As Enigman taunted, Vertigo caught him from behind with the Blackout! Stax got up and hit both men with the 5-Time Splash!

Stax picked up Enigman first, but Enigman got him in a front chancer, taking him over to the Rings of Justice. Grabbing Stax's tights, Enigman picked him up for a suplex, and the Rings of Justice broke with Enigman & Stax in it! Vertigo heard the Rings of Justice break, so he got up and jumped in. Stax got thrown out by Enigman but got stopped by dead in his tracks by Vertigo with a vertical suplex. Vertigo taunted, and Enigman caught him offguard with a huge spear! Enigman got up, happy he speared a guy as big as Vertigo, turned around and was speared by Stax! Stax got up and got speared by Vertigo! Enigman grabbed Vertigo, who injured himself on one of the previous spears, and took him into the shattered Rings of Justice. He began removing springs from the shattered Ring of Justice, when Stax walked over by Enigman, asking, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?". Enigman replied affirmitively, and they soon had Vertigo wrapped up in the tarp of the Rings of Justice!

They dragged him over to in front of the ring, then annihilated him with a barrage of weapon hits. Enigman also tried again for the Enigmator on Stax, but he moved, and hit the Splinter Sprawl! Vertigo broke it up, and managed to get control later in the match, slapping on the Blackout on Enigman. Stax got up, and Punk Kicked Vertigo! Enigman fell down from exhaustion, so Stax took Vertigo over by the announce table, and tried for the Splinter Sprawl on him, only to receive the Blackout! Enigman broke it up and called for the Solitude, but Vertigo turned it around into the Blackout! Stax got up and Punk Kicked Vertigo again, but this time Enigman was ready, and Stax was subject to the Solitude.

Enigman pinned him and became the new President of MWF as well as retaining the Heavyweight Championship. Justin Sane came down to help Enigman out, along with Scully and Mofar helping Stax out, as Vertigo was left lying as MichiganMania 3 came to a close.
