Deformation

This summer pay-per-view was always a popular event to have some pretty massive implications go down that would alter MWF history, and also cause some slight speculation from backstage politics.

Massive Misfortune
The champions going into Massive Misfortune 2001 were Stax(Tag and Hardcore), Justin Sane(Intercontinental, Enigman(Heavyweight), and Sweatpants Mofar(Tag), respectively. Once all superstars were in the ring, it was pure chaos, with the BCW putting forth more then normal efforts. In the end, it was Enigman who grabbed the Hardcore, Scourge and Rancore had the Tag Titles, Scourge also grabbed the IC and Vertigo snatched the Heavyweight.

Hardcore Title Match - Stax d. Enigman
Stax had no time regaining his Hardcore Title from Enigman, but Enigman did give him a run for his money.

Intercontinental Title Ladder Match - Scourge d. Justin Sane
Yes, you read it right, a Ladder Match. These two put forth a great effort on both parts to try to capture the IC title. Scourge proved too hungry for gold for Sane, as he ended up champion.

Tag Team Title Match - BCW d. Stax & Sweatpants Mofar
Rancore did most of the work in this match, but Stax was also already weary from battling Enigman. Sweatpants and Stax went down proudly.

Heavyweight Title Match - Vertigo d. Enigman
Vertigo had been looking for a title shot since last summer, but Enigman screwed him over with the IC Title shot that lasted until MichiganMania 2. Finally, Vertigo defeated Enigman to become Heavyweight Champion and finish off Deformation.
