"Survivor Review" is a private fan site and is no way affiliated with CBS or Mark Burnett Productions.  Many of the pictures and graphics are taken from the official CBS "Survivor: Pearl islands" website, as well as other sites, such as "CBS Early Show".  This site's intent is not to infringe on any copyrighted or trademarked material, only to review and speculate on a TV series which has captured our imaginations.

Day 31 begins with Christa and Sandra having second thoughts about not
booting Burton last night.  They are having regrets for believing Jon's pro-
mise that they will join he and Burton in the Final Four.   Sandra and Christa
now think that perhaps Jon had been lying to them.  Duh!!!  Jon confirms
this with Uncle Cameraman, requoting his "fat women and wicker furniture"
analogy to his promises…, easily broken.  Christa talks with Jon and he con-
tinues to scam her.  Sandra chats up Darrah again about booting The Boys.
Darrah listens but stays loose.  Meanwhile, Burton catches a load of fish to
a quasi-"Jaws" background score.

Reward Challenge is another watery obstacle course.  Contestants operate
in teams of three in a relay race to untie oars and dive for barrels, then row
a boat.  The prize is a day and night at a luxury resort, complete with food,
massage, a soft bed, and air conditioning.  Teams are randomly selected.
It will be Jon, Darrah and Lil versus Burton, Sandra, and Christa.   Darrah
gets off to an early lead over Sandra in the 1st stage of the race, then she
and Lil build it even further as Sandra flounders.  By the time Jon is tagged
and involved, the race is essentially over.  They win and leave immediately
for the reward.  Burton, Sandra, and Christa sulk back to Balboa Beach.

The winners first get a boat ride to a small airfield, then take a flying tour of
the Pearl Islands.  Even Jon is impressed with their beauty.  The resort is
very nice.  They shower, separately, which gives Jon a chance to work Lil
some more while Darrah cleans up.  Then it's off to their massage.  Mean-
while, back at Balboa, Sandra and Christa chat with Burton.  He was not
aware of the deal Jon had cut the night before to save him.  He also is not
impressed, nor feels obligated to abide by Jon's promise.  Both Sandra and
Christa now are certain that they've been had again by Jon-E-Fair-Play.
Back at the resort, the winners slip into silk pajamas and head off to dinner.
Jon demonstrates his knowledge of fine eating by ordering for everyone.
Both of the ladies are impressed.  During dinner, Lil tells Jon how Sandra
and Christa are still talking about offing The Boys.  After dinner, Jon insults
Lil and she stomps off to bed early, leaving he and Darrah alone.  Hmmm.

Day 32 at Balboa finds Christa and Burton alone gathering shellfish.  She
tries to cut a deal with Burton for being in the Final Four.  He asks her if
she would be willing to boot Sandra this next Tribal Council.  She agrees,
but tries to persuade him that Darrah is more of a threat.  Speaking of which,
Darrah and Jon chat after a huge breakfast about being in the Final Two.
Jon promises to take her all the way.  LOL!  I bet!  She seems agreeable.
The winners return to The Game and Jon brags about everything they en-
joyed.  Burton and Jon have a private chat and Burton learns of all the pro-
mises Jon has been making.  Burton doesn't mind, as he is the 'good cop'
to Jon's 'bad cop'.  Burton figures that in the Final Two, people will vote for
him and not for Jon.  At night, Burton and Lil talk.  She is dismayed when he
does not commit to taking her to the Final Two.

Day 33 and it's time for the Immunity Challenge.  The contestants will used
modified pirate muskets to shoot flares at mock sails.  First to hit their 3
targets wins.  Christa needs help from Jeff as she's never fired a weapon
before.  Perhaps it's a trick, or beginner's luck, for she connects with her
first shot.  Darrah and Burton also hit their targets on their first attempt.
Christa and Darrah then make it two in a row.  Burton misses.  Sandra and
Lil hit their first target.  Christa tries to make it three straight to win but hits
the wooden name plaque instead.  Everybody else misses as Darrah goes
up for her third shot.  She takes deadly aim and scores!  Darrah wins her
second immunity in a row.

Christa kicks herself for not winning.  She and Sandra talk with Darrah about
going after Burton, but Darrah wants Lil booted.  Jon and Lil chat and he
tells her that Christa is the target.   Lil hopes it's true, but at this point, she's
taking nothing for granted.

Tribal Council is another confused love-fest.  Everybody trusts one-another
but everyone admits to being dishonest.  Jon makes an almost profound
speech about The Game being about hope.  Lil tries to play down the fact
that she is the nicest player and would easily beat the rest in the Final Two.
It's time to vote.  Sandra and Christa vote for Lil to go.  The rest boot poor
Christa.  Like the deer in the headlights, she gets run-over.

SPOILERS:  The Boys feel cocky, knowing that they have The Game under
their firm control.  They brag about how the ladies have no strategy and
how they have superior intellects.  Sandra is still plotting to get them
booted.
