About Coffee

When I was in college I went to a local coffee shop to get away from many of the antics of dorm-life and to study. It was at that coffee shop that I was first introduced to the varieties of coffee and the ways in which it could be prepared.
The first time I approached the board I couldn't even figure out how to order a normal cup of black coffee, let alone decipher the Italian that was so freely used on the menu. Not wanting to seem like a novice in a place that seemed so sophisticated I decided to learn more about coffee. I began to research and read articles on the discovery of coffee, the preparation of coffee and the new technologies of coffee. Eventually, I would even become a barista. This is a little of what I learned.
