 WCW Starcade Results !!!Lash LeRoux Vs. The Artist formerlly known as Prince Iaukea. A great offensive match on both sides. In the match Iaukea went after Lash's right knee. They went after each other on the floor and Lash got smacked in the steps. The Artist was in control for a while and Paisley interfered on a couple occasions. In the End, The Artist Nailed the Top-Rope DDT and pinned LeRoux and won the Cruiserweight title.! Brian Knobbs Vs. Bam Bam Bigelow This match begins in the ring briefly, then went to the floor, then it goes backstage. Knobbs demanded Finley to let him do the match himself. The match finally comes back out to the ring after 3 1/2 to 4 mins. Knobbs gotta table and posted it on the corner ring post and attempted to bulldog Bam Bam through the table but Bab Bam countered and pushed Knobbs into the table instead and shattered it..(Ouch). bam Bam nailed Knobbs with "Greetings from Asbury Park". Knobbs knocked Bam Bam off the rope to prevent the headbunt. Finley distracted Bigelow and Bam Bam fell and hit something on the ground and Knobbs pinned Bigelow to become the new Hardcore Champion. Count Vs. Norman Smiley At the start, Courageous said they're not gonna sing (Audience cheers Loudly!!) and said it's all business and to kick a$$ tonight. Smiley came down to ringside wearing a red football jersey with a number 80 in white color on it. Norman airplane-spinned Shane and almost gave him "The Wiggle" but Evan intervened. (This match had it's moments of comedy). Courageous nailed a swinging corkscrew splash, another guy nailed a splash and the last guy made Norman tap out from a Boston crab. Demon Vs. The Wall The match begins with Demon heading back to the locker room looking for the Wall when he didn't emerge, but the Wall jumped on him before he got all the way there and a fight insued in the walkway to the ring. The match got into the ring, the Wall Press-slammed Demon. Then Demon went on the offensive and nailed the Wall with several shots including an elbow-smash and a suplex. Wall finally nailed the Demon with a chokeslam off the top rope and pinned Demon. Tank Abbott Vs. Big Al This was a skins match with a jacket decending from a pole on the side of the ring(Similar to a knightstick on a pole match). Both competitors laced a belt on each others right arm and kept asking each other to "bring it" and followed with several punches. Big Al nailed a Big shot on Abbott and dropped him. Al put Abbott between the ring pole below the jacket and got back in the ring and stood on Abbotts face!!. Tank popped up and Jacked Al with a left hook and several shots followed. (Brutal match). Abbott hursed Al on his sholder and put him on the ring ropes and dragged him on Top of ropes and jumped off and Al hit head 1st on the steps. Then Tank grabbed the jacket from the pole for the victory. Booker T. Vs. Big T. The match begins with Booker and Big T. exchange a few words. Big T. then jumped him from behind as Stevey distracted Booker. Booker came back and dropped Big T. in a shoulder suplex and another suplex followed. It went to floor moments later and stevey attempted to jump Booker but he fought back before a clear shot got it. It went out of the ring another instant later and Biggs and Stevey jumped Booker. Booker nail Big T. with an Ax kick and then nailed the Harlem Side kick. Booker nailed Big T. with a (Rock-Bottom). Booker nailed Big T. with the Missile dropkick and as the 3 count almost occured the lights went out, a moment later a man emerged onto the ring. Big T. took advantage of the distracted Booker and defeated him with the T-bomb. Kidman Vs. Vampiro Both men went at each other at the start. Then Kidman put Vampiro in a reverse headlock, Vampiro in a til-to-whirl slam. Kidman accidently hit Torrie while she was on the ropes. The match went back and forth several times through out the match (Great matchup in my opinion). In the end..Kidman nailed Vampiro with a top rope inverted DDT and pinned him. David Flair and Crowbar Vs. The Mamalukes Stretcher match for the Tag titles. Both teams came down to the ring. Disco was carrying a Trash can in a wheelchair. David and Crowbar jumped the Mamalukes first (Daphne was Screaming!!). The primary weapon of the match was the stretcher, (it was used like a ladder in a ladder match). Daphne got involved and sprayed something at Disco and pulled off her blue hair wig and gave it to Dave Penzer. Vito nailed Crowbar through a table on the side corner of the ring. Johnny the Bull nailed David with a side leg drop off the top rope. Johnny tied David to the stretcher and got eliminated from the match. Crowbar knocked the Mamalukes with trash cans. Johnny slamed Crowbar with several shots from a pipe and Vito put Crowbar through a table from off the top ring rope on the floor. Crowbar was knocked out and was taped to the stretcher, The Mamalukes grabbed Daphne and tapped her to the wheelchair (Daphne was Screaming!!). Crowbar was eliminated and the Mamalukes prevailed Ric Flair Vs. Terry Funk This match was a Definite show stealer, both wrestles endured tremendous ammounts of Pain. But in the end Ric Flair prevailed when he kept Funk from getting up after Flair prevented Funks moonsault. Winner Ric Flair Hulk Hogan Vs. The Total Package Hogan and Luger went straight at it from the begining. Hogan occipied the first moments of the match but Luger caught him with an elbow shot. Hogan blocked a punch with his cast and Luger busted one of his fingers. Hogan took Luger to the tunbuckles several times. Liz interfered by hitting Hogan with a bat but that fired up Hogan and went after her but Lugar jumped him. Jimmy Hart took the bat from Liz and had it gotten rid of. Luger went for the Torture Rack but Hogan stood up after a suplex and Hogan started his adrenline rush and gave Luger the Big Foot. Luger low-blowed him after trying to get his weight belt and Jimmy Hart and Hogan nailed Luger with their casts. Hogan then scored the LEg Drop for the pin. Sid Vicious Vs. Jeff Jarrett Vs. Scott Hall This match was for the WCW Heavyweight Title in a 3-way Dance. Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett started battling before Sid made his entrance. Scott knocked Jeff out and then Sid came out to the ring walking a moment later. Scott went after Sid and battled back on both men. The Harris Brothers tripped Sid between the ring post and was crotched. Jeff and Scott went at it and Jeff was on the offensive at this point. Jeff and Scott exchanged slugs. The Sid Double-clotheslined them..Sid then gave them a double chokeslam but only a 2 count. Jeff shuved the new referee but the ref shuved back and almost got pinned by Hall. Jeff then gave the ref a Stroke-reverse Russian Leg sweep. a 3rd ref got involved and Jeff Gave him the Stroke-sweep. 4 refs we're out. Mark Johnson came down. Hall got Jeff in an outside edge. Before the 3 count Mark pretended he hurt his shoulder. Jeff got the Guitar and slammed it on Scotts skull..Rowdy Piper came down to the ring in a Ref shirt and hit Mark Johnson. Sid put Jeff in a Chokeslam, then he game Scott a Powerbomb and pinned Hall. Sid is you're winner and still Champ!! |
