![]() DECEMBER 19 -Shane Helms waits in the ring as Shannon Moore makes his way down to ramp to Three Count's music. They then shake hands before Moore gets Helms in a waist lock but it is reversed into a hurricanrana. Helms retreats from the ring and returns with a side head lock. Several quick roll-ups are traded after wrestling take-downs. Helms then throws Moore over the top rope by his hair. Moore pulls him out before climbing back in himself. He then delivers a knee while he's on the apron and misses a sunset flip to the ring floor. Moore comes back for a hurricanrana on the floor and then both men crawl back into the ring. They climb the turnbuckle while Chavo Guerrero, Jr. looks on, and Helms elbows Moore until hitting a powerbomb. After a near fall, Helms hits a belly to back suplex and another two count. He argues with the referee until Moore slams his head into a turnbuckle as he jumps over the ropes onto the apron. Moore flips over him to hit a standing side kick and a near fall. He then hits a standing leg drop and covers for a near fall before putting Helms onto the turnbuckle. Moore attempts a frankensteiner but is pushed off. Helms sunset flips him for a very near fall and then hits the Vertibreaker (an upside down dual arm lock which drives Moore into the mat) for the pinfall. Guerrero then runs in but Three Count double team him and chase him from the ring and backstage. Shane Helms defeats Shannon Moore via pinfall. -Meng races backstage and Funk drops the chain link door that he was ranting behind onto him. Funk then hits him with a trash can but Meng jumps back up and bashes Funk with a chair and a trash can lid. Begging for mercy, Funk gets to his feet before insulting Meng's nose again. Meng hits him with the trash can lid again and the two brawl through the curtain to the ramp area. He continues to beat on Funk with a trash can as they stumble toward the ring area. Meng puts Funk into the ring and then pulls out a table. He pushes the table into the ring and then goes back to get the trash can to knock Funk down from the apron. Funk bashes away at Meng with the trash can as he sets up the table but Meng is unfazed. Meng takes the trash can and hits Funk -- placing him onto the table. He climbs onto the top turnbuckle and comes down onto the table, Funk rolled out of the way. Meng gets to his feet and puts Funk in the Tongan Death Grip but Crowbar runs out and bashes Meng with a monkey wrench. Funk covers Meng for the pinfall and then Crowbar tells Funk that he has abandoned his gimmick to face him at Sin. He wants him to be 100% so he can get his belt back. Terry Funk defeats Meng via pinfall. -Storm claims that he has held every Title but the World Title and that the Americans cannot "screw it up" for him. Tygress then comes to the ring with Rey Mysterio, Jr., whose ribs are taped up. Mysterio comes into the ring and comes off the ropes for a hurricanrana. He sunset flips and drop kicks Storm. Mysterio scores a pair of near falls before connecting with a Bronco Buster. Storm battles back and scores a near fall after working over Mysterio's ribs and hitting a backbreaker. He then scores a vertical suplex for another two count. Mysterio rolls out of the ring but Storm follows him. Storm ends up in the railing and connects with a boot before they return to the ring. Storm scores a near fall and then misses a pair of clotheslines off the ropes until Mysterio hits another kick. Mysterio scores a clothesline but both men go down. Storm then puts Mysterio in an abdominal stretch and pounds on his ribs. Mysterio powers out and tries to splash Storm off the ropes but he moves away. He then hits a hurricanrana and Storm retreats from the ring. Mysterio comes out onto Storm off the top rope. They return to the ring and Mysterio hits a leg drop off the top rope. Storm catches Mysterio as he comes off the middle rope and slams his face in the mat. He then puts Mysterio in the Canadian Maple Leaf for the submission. Lance Storm defeats Rey Mysterio, Jr. via submission. -Awesome tells the ladies that "the love doctor is in" and that there "is enough vitamin A to go around." He then claims that there is a "little bit of career killer aching to come out of [him]" and that he will beat his opponent to become WCW World Heavyweight champion. Jarrett then comes to the ring as Mark Madden and Schiavone comment on the fact that Jarrett implied he was not a contender when speaking to Steiner backstage. Awesome and Jarrett circle one another and then lock up. Awesome puts Jarrett in a front face lock and then flies off the ropes with a splash and a near fall. Jarrett recovers and backs Awesome into a corner where he rains punches and kicks on Awesome. Awesome battles back and hits a belly to back suplex and a back body drop. The men spill from the ring where Jarrett bashes Awesome with a chair but Awesome sends Jarrett into the railing. He slams Jarrett and then alternates between driving Jarrett into the apron and the railing. Awesome lays Jarrett onto the announce table and punches him before setting him up for a powerbomb. Jarrett frees himself with a low blow and then returns Awesome to the ring. He drops an ax handle slam and kick before hitting a drop-kick and scoring a near fall. Jarrett misses with a right hand and Awesome hits a powerbomb for a two count. Awesome climbs the ropes and comes down with a clothesline. He then scores a double underhook slam for another two count. Awesome attempts a running powerbomb but Jarrett pulls free. Awesome hits him with an elbow but bumps the referee. Jarrett grabs a guitar and climbs the turnbuckle. Awesome pulls him down and grabs the guitar, threatening Jarrett. Jarrett climbs from the ring and pulls out another guitar as the referee pulls the first one from Awesome. As the referee puts the guitar aside, Jarrett clobbers Awesome and rolls him up for the pinfall. Jeff "the Chosen One" Jarrett defeats Mike Awesome via pinfall. -Earnest "the Cat" Miller and Ms. Jones come to the ring where the Cat asks to see Alex Wright dance again since he dances like one of the Nitro Girls. He starts dancing and the Cat tells him to sit down since he would rather see "old fat ass Mark Madden dance." He starts a chant trying to get Madden into the ring but Madden refuses. Miller rushes in and takes Wright down quickly. Wright hides behind the referee and comes from behind to put the boots to the Cat. He throws the Cat outside of the ring, after a near fall, and attempts to drop onto him but the Cat connects with a drink to the face. The men brawl on the ring floor until Wright drops the Cat onto the announce table. Ms. Jones smacks him from behind but he does not notice and the two reenter the ring. Wright hits a suplex and the Cat rolls back out of the ring. The Cat's back is driven into the ring post and Ms. Jones kicks Wright. He then pushes the Cat into the railing and then back into the ring for several elbows. Wright then locks the Cat in a modified armbar hold. The Cat battles back and scoop slams him. Wright hits a double ax handle to the back and locks the arm bar back in. The Cat battles back again but comes off the ropes into a blow to the midsection. Wright hits a knee off the ropes and a near fall before the Cat slips off a running power slam to connect with a kick for the pinfall. Earnest "the Cat" Miller defeats Alex Wright via pinfall. -Bagwell enters the ring first but rolls out as Goldberg enters. Goldberg chases him around the ring but Luger was waiting outside with a chair. Luger clobbers him and the bell sounds. The two men pull Goldberg into the ring and put the boots to him when Sarge runs out. Luger hits Sarge with a chair but Goldberg stands up and delivers a pair of standing side kicks to each man. They sulk off backstage as Schiavone and Scott Hudson discuss whether the disqualification is valid since the match never officially started. Goldberg is 32-0. Goldberg defeats Buff Bagwell via disqualification. -Storm asks to serious and claims "it is one down, one to go . . . because Jarrett, as good as you are, you aren't from Calgary, Alberta Canada." Hudson and Schiavone mock him as the Canadian National Anthem plays. Jarrett then comes out to the ring with guitar in hand. The men circle one another and Jarrett scores a quick take down with a head lock. He then scores a hip toss off the ropes and they lock up again in the corner. Storm hammers away after the referee breaks them up and the two roll out of the ring. Storm flies at Jarrett but he moves and they return to the ring. Jarrett places Storm in the figure four leg lock but Storm eventually turns it over. Jarrett grabs the ropes and Storm breaks the hold. Storm rolls up a pair of inside cradles for near falls and then Jarrett get a pair of near falls as well. Jarrett is kicked and then takes a jawbreaker before Storm scoop slams him and climbs the ropes. Jarrett punches him and climbs the ropes to set up a suplex off the turnbuckle -- which he scores. Both men hit the mat and there until Jarrett pulls an arm over Storm for a two count. They regain their footing and Storm punches Jarrett who misses and enziguiri. Storm puts him into the Canadian Maple Leaf put Jarrett reaches the ropes. After the hold is broken Jarrett hits Storm with the Stroke for the pinfall.
