The Sink Was Full Of Fishes

"Everything we fight and suffer for,or it would vanish in face of Love,or it is Love"

The Italian one.
She couldn't yet name her fully, was the reasoning of Jill, that he kept for himself.
They were together and after 5 months she was still upset by that memory... the Italian one...5 months together, but she was keepin despising her. Incredible.
"Well, sorry dear, but that disn't seem a good idea to me at all. I thought it's more romantic to be the two of us only, instead than getting lost into a chaotic mess of people. We're a couple... or am I not enough for you?"
Enough?! She was living for him.But...
"Anyway.. here we are, smile at me please..."
The car stopped the race in front of a victorian building:heavy stuccos inside; subdued murmurs and the tinkling of cutlery on dishes reached their ears as they stepped into. From the rooftop big drop chandeliers spreadin precious brilliance all over, and dozens of waiters were almost silently moving among tables, like dancers in the air. He asked what she was thinkin of the place, and Kass repeated the place was very elegant. They got accompanied at their table and they asked for their candles to not being lightened up:"They would just be too formal for us: you know, we're still in our early 20s..."
Their waiter contented them but clearly lookin to them like he was ready to say "Then why the hell you've chosen this place?"
Their dinner would have been fish-based.
For all the efforts Jill was tryin to put into the good mood of their dinner, he couldn't obtain from Kass more than cold and calculated distant politeness. They were already at their desserts when one of the waiters brought her a magnificent bunch of 23 red roses taller than one meter each.
Surprised by the unexpected present, the girl opened teh card that was given her onto a silver plate, and read it with clear voice to Jill who was smiling to her
: "For your 23 years:
thank you for the immense pleasure
of having shared them all with me.
Your Jill.
"
He lifted up realizin how the roses could make her spirit better: he was resigned to one of those days he was defining "hole-days" of their affair, those days when everything was sucked into a sort of dark-hole where no emotions could live. Those weren't their usual days together, but they did happen sometimes.
Now that Kass was feeling right again she seemed to notice he did bring her in a top restaurant, she saw the night was fresh and clear and that she was with a man totally focusing on her wills, ready to bend to all requests she could have made.
She was in love with Jill: her silver eyes couldn't stop to stare at him, to study devotedly his anjelic, yet strong features.
"I'd like to go somewhere quieter..."
"Take it as done my dear"
and he brought her the overcoat with a funny manner of butler; then they left the place with its murmurs ongoing.
