The Sink Was Full Of Fishes

"Everything we fight and suffer for,or it would vanish in face of Love,or it is Love"

Chapter 6 Page 26

Jill hadn't heard her words: "And you're so sexual in this..." she concluded even lower in tone.
She would have never consented anymore that a massive pain would take that splendid man over, nor that his incredible eyes, made of an embarassing green, could be pull out from orbits as a reaction to an hostile world...She had never seen them so, but she knew she wouldn't have liked the sight.
She would have loved to ask again if he was loving her, but she didn't.
Words are just words and nobody's got receits for a future unmade.
She did feel though in case she would have asked out assurances to Jill, he would have given all of them out to her, and she were going to take them as gold, anyway. This even if you build your future day after day,by your full givin and transport and commitment; and even if every pledge can be broken unexpectedly, and even if to promise eternity tastes so much of Peynet's strips, and not of reality, well Melania kept in her heart the certainty Jill was going to tell her about endless love forever, trusting it as evidence of destiny.
She was determined to trust him and his love forever and a day, because true love never stops to move, and once it has conquered every space, it keeps grow, by abscending and expanding.
"Jill: do you believe in the sentence "I'm gonna love you forever"?"
"Sure I do: true love lasts forever."
"But how can you believe there is something that never makes you tired or annoyed, something you would live your entire life in function of not only without regrets, but comforted you could never obtain anything better?"
"I do believe that something exists."
"Gimme examples: and please don't involve me in..."
He thought a while about it, like it were very difficult for him to take off space from his mind to Melania in favour of another example that might convince her:
"Well, the love for a son: that kind of love lasts forever!"
She agreed that was a great tip: that type of love indeed resist to anything.
"Right: when you speak of this, I do believe that something exists. But I can't ever put on the same plan parental love with love between peers. Maybe because parental love could be genetical?"
"I don't really think genetic has anything to do with love: the point is that you always put yourself in the game for a son, and this lets you ready to adapt and react better to everything that may occur. In a two relationship instead, there's pride and there are other problematics that brake that type of foresight, that type of unconditional surrender, and there the troubles apparently irresolvable arise..."
"To me it all belongs to sexual side instead: sex is what makes the difference between parental love and love for a lover..."
