An Irish gentleman born in the early 1700s, Angelus was a ne'er-do-well who was more interested in drinking than in doing an honest day's work. On one such drunken binge, he encountered a vampire named Darla, who turned him into a vampire. Although he had never left his home of Galaway as a human, as a vampire he traveled extensively. In England in 1860, he murdered the family of a woman named Drusilla, driving her mad before finally turning her into a vampire.

In Romania in 1898, he killed the favorite daughter of a Romany tribe and was there after cursed by the tribes elders: they restored his soul to him, forcing him to live in anguish over the acts he had committed as a vampire. From that point on, Angel suffered. He drifted,eventually winding up as a homeless person in a New York City alleyway in the 1990s. It was there that the demon whistler found him and encouraged him to make something of himself. He travelled to California and decided he would help the slayer... Now, after loving Buffy, caring for her, Angel is moving to L.A to help the helpless...

  • Listen closely to the character's voices when the new WB cartoon series "Baby Blues" launches on Friday, July 28th. You may recognize a certain "angelic" tone. The premiere episode, "Bizzy Moves In" is chock full of guest stars including Drew Carey, Bob Costas, Dan Cortese and our very own David Boreanaz. No word on who DB will play, except that his a David-cartoon look-a-like, so you'll have to tune in and listen up.
  • Next Valentine's Day, we're in for a surprise. Directed by Jamie Blanks, "Valentine" will star our favorite Angel, David Boreanaz as Victor DiMorta. The premise: On a college campus, a group of girlfriends ruthlessly humilates a nerdy kid. Ten years later, physically transformed into a handsome, happening guy (Boreanaz), he wreaks his revenge through seduction and unpleasantness. It's a mysterious horror that you won't want to miss!
  • David Boreanaz is rumored to star in "First Light", a movie with writing credits to Ingrid Quinn, David's wife, coming out in the year 2000!
  • David Boreanaz Files For Divorce??? Click her to read more! I also heard that Jeff Pruit (The "Buffy" and "Angel" stunt coordinator) was on the Liner board last Saturday and people asked if David really did file for divorce and Jeff said it was false.
