James Marsters- Spike

Warning!!!!!! This used to be a Kendra/ Faith section and so things might look a little funny for some time :) But don't worry, you'll be seeing Kendra and Faith in my upcoming section called "Recurring Guest Stars", for those who have appreared 3 or more times on "Buffy"!!!

News

  • "Never smoke cigarettes. Anyone who's thinking about it, you never meet a smoker who wants to do that. Seriously. I'm smoking and my voice is so bad." This is from James's own mouth, though I don't know if he quit smoking yet... it could be possible!?
  • In his own words, James Marsters explains his next movie “Winding Roads” as a very low-budget film. It was filmed on location in Springfield, Missouri, hometown of Brad Pitt. I play a good person, hometown boy, who ends up not being enough for the lead character, and the movie is about our breakup and her decision to leave Springfield. You'll need to catch it at a film festival unless Miramax picks it up.
  • James Marsters stars in House on Haunted Hill (1999) as "Channel 3 Cameraman", a small role at the beginning of this horror movie directed by William Malone. When an eccentric millionaire offer a group of opposites $1,000,000 to spend the night in a so called "Haunted House" with a murderous past, they figure it is a quick way to get quick money and leave. All of them are sure it is some made up story just to mess with their heads a little and test their courage. But, once they stay in the house they start to think about the mistake they made in coming there when mysterious things start to happen. Check out the official site by clicking here!
  • You can now catch Spike on "Buffy" and "Angel", since he guest stars on both shows every once in a while!

    Name: James Wesley Marsters
    Born: August 20, 1972
    Birthplace: Modesto, CA
Marital Status: Not married, but is dating Liz Stauber
Distinguishing Marks: The scar over his eye is from an incident that occurred in Queens, NY; apparently James was asked for his wallet by a group of not-too-nice guys, and he wasn't initially intent on complying. He also has a real nasty scar on his leg from a childhood accident which had him out of commission for about a year. As a result of skin grafts needed to repair the damage, there's a section of hair on his leg that grows sideways....hehe.
Random Facts: His hair is bleached soley for the show, it's actually brown; He's also left handed. He used to have his own Theater Company and they were very successful.
Pets: a cat from the Bronx named Zachary
Favorite Music: All music. I like Miles Davis, Bush, Palace, sometimes known as The Palace Brothers, Al Green, Bob Dylan, Digable Planets, Benny Goodman, Billie Holliday, Johnny Lee Hooker, The Sex Pistols, Elvis Costello, Morcheeba, Roy Orbison, Nirvana, Charlie Parker, REM, Lou Reed and classical, Beethoven.
Enjoys: He enjoys painting, singing, and playing his guitar
Car: He drives a Suzuki Samurai
    Bad Habbits: He smokes
Favorite Book: “Twentieth Century Insanity and the Madness of Crowds”
