What can I say? More health problems have plagued me this year. I took my daughter to the OKC memorial the day before McVeigh got the needle. I laid some white roses at the base of the "Jesus Wept" statue, went to get up and fell flat on my....well, you know. Thinking I had only injured my pride, and grateful all the media cameras were pointed the other way, I didn't realize until the next morning that I had broken my arm. Lovely, especially since I had vacation scheduduled to go to Arizona in July. Perfect timing. Anyway, if you'd like to see my "misadventures" of that trip, check out Arizona and have a few laughs.

PAPER ROSES, was the recommended read for the month of October 1999 at Inscriptions Book Club! It is also on their list of best books of the year! And, my latest pride is, Paper Roses has won the historical category of the SARA (Sooner Area Romance Authors) Rising Star 2000 competition for published authors. This contest judged all forms of books, so I am proud and honored that my work was judged the best. It has also been nominated, along with Highland Fury, for the International eBook Awards. The novel is published under Celia Collier, and is available through DiskUs Publishing. It's a story of intrigue, treachery, redemption, and of course, romance.
