Baltimore Storyline held in Baltimore, Maryland, February 2002.
The power struggle for the East Coast is all but over. It has left Kindred society deeply shaken and uncertainity rules the night. The thugs of the Sabbat have laid claim to the domains along the Atlantic.
Deeply wounded, the Ivory Tower of the Camarilla planned one final assualt against the Sabbat under the moonlight of the Chesapeake Bay
Baltimore had been left unclaimed. As the Camarilla and Sabbat struggled to recover from the horrendous war to the North, the city had become fair game to any sect or vampire ready to seize the throne. The struggle has now ended for Charm City.
Tournament began promptly at 2 p.m.
Twenty methuselahs made the trip to Towson, MD to participate in the first ever V:TES tournament in the Baltimore area. Emily Lloyd, who had never played in a tournament before this one, got the win with 4 VPs in the final round. The tournament was only a 2 round plus final affair. We had decided to run a demo to start things off since Baltimore is so new to the V:TES scene. Unfortunately, only one person showed for the demo, so we’ll be going to the standard 3 round format in the future.
Highlights of the first two rounds include:
1.) 3 Assamite decks at one table (here’s to optimal seating).
2.) A Fidus the Shrunken Beast who had:
Superior Fortitude, Superior Thaumaturgy, Defender of the Haven, Guardian Angel, Prince of Geneva, and a .44 magnum (from diablerizing a Legendary vampire no less).
3.) A first round 5 player table that was swept in under half an hour.
4.) A Methuselah actually playing a Salubri-Antitribu deck and getting 2 VPs. Kudos to Dan Keller of Northern Virginia for that.
Prize support didn’t arrive in time thanks to some problems with the local carrier pigeon. Proxies of Meddling of Semsith were substituted and MoS made an impact in a few games including the final round. Pier 13 of Baltimore sadly did not.

Jason Babbitt was the No. 1 seed going into the final round with 1 Game Win and 7 total VPs going in. Emily Lloyd was the No. 5 going in with 3 VPs. The final round was a quick one, taking a little less than an hour to complete.
Emily was able to make a remarkable turn around. Halfway through the game, Emily was down to one pool. With Anson out, she had two master phase actions at her disposal, and she was able to draw into a Minion Tap for six to save herself.
