Mechanical Flaw

You know, a lot of people asked me what happened to Jorge "God" Julio not too long ago. It seemed that I had lost my divinity, and was falling prey to the homer bug, even costing me a few saves...

Well, first off, just let me say that the Julio works in mysterious ways, so set your minds at ease. Secondly, there's a perfectly good explanation for all of this...

If you checked around some of baseball's "insiders" they would have let you know that our pitching coach Wiley found a "Mechanical flaw" in my delivery that was causing me to send my pitches up high, and head right into the homer zone. That explains why my delivery was off, and why a few of those games that normally would have closed out, ended in homeruns, wins for the other team, and losses for me.

"But Julio," you say, "how can a God have a flaw in their delivery?" And to this I say, "Look at what I said ding-bat!" There was a MECHANICAL flaw in my delivery! Doesn't it all make sense now?

Tiny nano-machines released by the Chinese government would attack my arm every time I went to deliver a pitch to home plate! The interference of these diabolical machines was just enough to get me to pitch higher than I normally like to, and throw off my normally omnipotent pitching skills!

Why did the Chinese government resort to this? Terrorism most likely! After realizing that they can cash in on professional sports stars exorbitant salaries (i.e. Yao Ming) they realized that they should go to the top of the baseball ladder... and you can't get any higher than God!

Rest assured O's fans, the machines have been put out of commision, and Julio is back on track getting saves and wins! My apologies for not reporting this to you earlier, but we wanted to make sure the problem was sorted out before we spread any unconfirmed rumors. We'd never give you false information folks... really.
