Trouble is a beautiful black and white Powderpuff girl She has lived up to her name Trouble very well...The reason I named her trouble was because she was a troubled birth. Her mother, Cricket, was interrupted when in labour pushing her out and the sac had come part way out and cricket had chewed it open then when disturbed had sucked the puppy back up and refused to push anymore...I was not home at the time but at this point I rushed home to tend to Cricket. A couple hours went by and I was getting frantic, if this puppy was not born we were at risk to lose both mother and child (and possible any other babies that may be in there as we were unaware how many puppies she was carrying)finally Cricket started pushing but was crying alot while doing so and this is when I noticed a little foot poking out from crickets rear. I decided that I would have to do something and do it fast! I sized up the situation and decided since there was no sac that I would have to get the other leg out somehow so I grabbed some vasoline and gently put my finger inside of her and found the other leg. By this point I wasn't sure the baby would be alive after all these hours stuck inside with no sac but I was going to do my best to save Cricket if nothing else, even though she was not my dog it pained me to see her in such distress. After getting the leg out Cricket was quite exhausted and didn't want to push but with each contraction I gently pulled the puppy a little more and a little more until finally the puppy was out!!! The first thing I noticed was the shiny black fur and I was sad that such a baby had to die but I decided to try to revive her anyways I rubbed and I rubbed....until I heard a little cry and that was it I cried and cried I was so happy that this puppy got a second chance at life that there was no way I would have let her go to another home! I insisted on keeping her myself and finally the paperwork was done and she was all MINE! She grew until to very beautiful girl and I have been showing her for her Canadian Championship and she has obtained three points so far towards that. But even if she didn't turn to to be show quality she had me wrapped around her paw from that first little squeak!

Born April 20th 2002 she is now four years old and a mommy to some beautiful babies.
