 We are told that Mei is a very good sleeper and sleeps throughout the night. She takes a nap after lunch every day and is a very good eater. Her favorite foods are rice, noodles and fruit. She also likes spicy and salty foods and prefers her food warm. She likes to take a bath. Mei is described as quiet and very optimistic. She likes to be around other children or other people and does not like to be left alone. She likes to be outdoors, enjoys playing games and likes colorful toys. Mei also enjoys music and while she listens to all kinds of Chinese music, she likes children's songs the best. Mei-Ling is very observant of sounds. She can crawl, walk, talk a bit, run, turn over, pick up toys and is on target for her age. We know that Mei was meant to be our daughter. We found Mei on the waiting child list at Faith International Adoptions. We fell in love. However, another family had already requested to see her file. It was a tense few days but.... they decided not to go ahead and so Long Mei Fu, now known as Mei-Ling Rose, will become our precious daughter.
