Indian Hill Baptist Church is located a few miles northwest
of the town of Bluffton, South Carolina, between Eagles Point
and Berkeley Hall Subdivisions along the westbound (north) side
of Highway 278, also known as Fording Island Road.
FROM INTERSTATE 95
Take Exit 8 off Interstate 95 and follow the signs
east to Hilton Head Island. Indian Hill Baptist
Church is located 2.5 miles after (or east of) the Highway
278/Highway 170 intersection and will be on your left.
FROM BEAUFORT
Take Highway 170 towards Hilton Head Island until you come to
the Highway 278/Highway 170 overpass at McGarveys Corner.
Turn right onto Highway 278 after you pass under the overpass,
continuing to follow the signs to Hilton Head Island. Indian
Hill Baptist Church is located 2.5 miles further on towards Hilton
Head on your left.
FROM HILTON HEAD/BLUFFTON
Take Highway 278 (William Hilton Parkway/Fording Island Road)
west towards Bluffton. Stay on Highway 278 until you pass
the lighted intersection at Rose Hill Plantation. You will find
Indian Hill Baptist Church an additional 1.0 miles further west
on your right.
FROM SAVANNAH
Travel north on Highway 17, taking the Talmage Bridge over
the Savannah River into South Carolina. Approximately 4.5
miles after the bridge make a right hand turn onto Highway 170
(follow the signs to Hilton Head) and stay on Highway 170 until
you cross into Beaufort County. Turn left at the
Highway 46/170 intersection traveling towards Sun City (stay
on Highway 170). Travel north on Highway 170
for 4.5 miles and then turn right onto Highway 278 following
the signs toward Hilton Head Island. Indian Hill Baptist
Church will be 2.5 miles east of the Highway 278/170 intersection
on your left.
