	Hiyama Yuu (M/23) A new pilot who has graduated from the military school just 3 months prior to Macross' take-off. Although his skills still lack refinement, he shows adaptability and sense.
	Alex Meier (M/26) The first Silver Squadron leader. Treats Yuu like a brother. Although he may not be a first-rate pilot, he can handle any assigned mission reliably.
	Frei Miller (M/23) Member of Silver Squadron. He is often teased for being over-cautious, nevertheless he is a very trust-worthy wingman and can always be depended in critical situations.
	Claire Barton (F/22) Member of Silver Squadron. A rookie pilot who has just come out from military school. She is good at delicate missions and her shooting skill is regarded as exceptional.
	Keil Junei (M/20) Assigned to Silver Platoon when Yuu takes up the role of squadron leader. Although he has been criticized for acting independently, his capabilities can be fully realized under good leadership.
	Cindy Edwards (F/29) As leader of Red Squadron, she is the first female Valkyrie squadron leader. As the "big-sister" she is a very reliable leader. Edwards is Wei's friend during the United Nations Wars.
	Wei Lee (M/26) Genius pilot and leader of Blue Squadron. Best known for his hit-and-run tactics, his surprise attack strategies have resulted in many victories. He is Houmei's brother.
	Laura Clemence (F/22) Air Group Chief Tactical Officer (Chief Operator) of Megaroad. She has proven ability to command fighter squadrons calmly.
	Robert Wallace (M/50) Captain of Megaroad. Since the inauguration of the United Nations Army Wallace has been the captain of an aircraft carrier. During Space War I he was stationed at Apollo base on Moon.
	Saeki Yuki (F/20) Auxiliary pilot in Silver Squadron. Yuki is both charming and attractive. Adept reconnaissance skills let her plays an active role as the team's eyes.

	Vincent Walksman (M/27) Pilot in the Silver Squadron. Being more experienced, he often gives valuable advices to Yuu.
	Houmei Lee (F/19) Auxiliary pilot in Silver Squadron. Assigned to the team during an emergengy recruitment. Her piloting skill is still an unknown, but as Wei's sister there is great expectation.
	Asuria (F/22 equivalent) Former Meltrandi pilot. At the end of Space War I she has developed a strong passion for culture and joined the Micron United Nations Army.
	Mileil Meltrandi (ally).
	Doel'ter (M/22 equivalent) Former Zentradi army officer, well known for his calmness during execution of battle tactics. After the Great War, he is recruited by United Nations Army and now serves as military advisor on board Megaroad.
	Stachis (M/25 equivalent) Former Zentradi officer. During Space War I he was a feared ace-pilot. HIs unyielding character often leads to enmity. On a good day he is unstoppable.
