Z

ZIP compressed folder ZIP (compressed) file containing other files. See also NTFS compressed folders.

Zip disk Removable disk that stores either 100MB or 250MB.

ZIP file File that contains compressed versions of one or more files, compressed by WinZip, PKZIP, ZipMagic, or a compatible compression program. ZIP files have the extension .zip.

ZipMagic Third-party program that adds better ZIP-file handling to Windows than Compressed Folders. Available from http://www.ontrack.com/software.

zone Categorization of the sources of downloaded information, for security purposes.
