We've decided to change our name to The Brown Noise. Along with this change, you should expect a new webesite, and also expect a change in our music somewhat, expect that music to be played very loudly. And when you hear it, we guarantee that you will indeed shit your pants. Our first booked show with our new name and new material will be December 13th. Check the show calendar for more info.

Good news people. My hand healed more quickly than expected. We're ready to play out again at any time. So book us! We are busy writing new material though, and we're still searching around for a new name. If you have any suggestions let us know, and we'll considerate it. Hope to see y'all at the next show. -Shawn

YYC has played it's last show for awhile. I have a broken hand and until I have it operated on and it heals, we will not be gigging. We also want to write new material, and maybe change the name of our band. No one is ever going to learn how to spell our current name because we live in a society of ignorant, illiterate, and careless fools. Expect the whole outfit of the band to be revamped and ready to go in a few months.

Images from Monday's show are up (Couresty of Watch Tom Hump Online). Our set was more loose than an 80 year old vagina. We didn't practice for a good two weeks and we had the usual equipment problems, and stomach butterflies from being a new band. Go figure. Hopefully we'll do better this Saturday. What are people saying about us???

This Friday's show is cancelled... or maybe it was just never booked. Apparently we were given some false information about the whole show. There is no show. Sorry to those who thought they might just happen to see us play. God forbid that ever happens...

We're not playing the show today. It's still on though. We'll probably be there. It's at Club Marque. You can come down and have buttsex with us while other bands are playing. But we got other new shows added.

In the event that anyone attended our show last week, we apologize for our lack of professionalism(sobriety). We'd like to let you know that we've reformed and regrouped and everything is aok. The next time you see us, we promise that you'll get the superfantasterrific show that you'd expect from The Yin Yang Contrast. Ok. We played a very disheartening show last night. We managed to make it out with a few bumps, bruises, but some hard feelings as well. We're really not sure what's going to happen as of just yet with this band. Unfortunately alcohol and fists did most of the talking this past evening I'm so sad to say. We'll let you know what's happening very soon.
