the least that I could do for them,
Was to come here and say a prayer.
For all of those who visit here,
Their prayers seem to fill the air.
Beside me stood an older man,
His hair white as snow.
He pointed to a name engraved,
And asked me, "Did you know?"
I reached and held his frail warm hand,
And said, "Yes.....I knew."
His last words he spoke to me was,
"Tell my Dad,...I really do love you."
For some reason, I went to this wall,
On this particular day.
Not knowing I would meet this man,
And the message, I'd have to say.
The gentleman smiled as I held his hand,
And said, "He felt so much better."
He said, He knew he would meet me here."
From what his son said, in his last letter.
