Accomplishment:Scored goals in three of four games at Team USA's first place finish at 2003 French International…Helped Newport Water Polo Foundation to 2002 Men's Senior National Championship…Suffered a near career ending injury to knee in 2001 but after countless hours of therapy, has made a comeback…Is pulling off one of the sport's most notable balancing acts, working out with the National Team while attending Harvard Medical School...Named UCI Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1997 and 1996…Selected Big West Scholar Athlete of the Year and GTE All-Academic Team following the 1996-97 seasons…Earned 1st Team Mountain Pacific in 1996... Accomplishment:Has become one of the team's most dangerous offensive threats…Can score from center or the perimeter and is an excellent defender…Scored eight goals in four games at French International Tournament in 2003…Tied for the team lead in goals scored with six at the 2002 World Cup…Was honored as a co-recipient of the 2002 Chuck Metz Award at Men's Senior Nationals after piloting Newport to the championship…Was second on the team and 12th in the league in scoring with 16 goals during the 2002 FINA World League…Had a team-high four goals in Team USA's upset over Hungary in Moraga (Calif.)…Named 2002 All-MPSF…Scored four goals at this year's World Championships…Received 1st Team All-American honors in 2000... Selected to the All-MPSF squad in 2000 and 1999 and high scorer in MPSF in 2000... UCI's leading scorer in 2000 and 1999...As a prep Jeff was a two-time All-CIF performer in water polo at San Luis Obispo High School and earned All-Northern League honors four times... Accomplishment:Is one of Team USA's most dynamic players…Plays well on both sides of the ball…Is a deft passer and shooter and is one of the team's fastest sprinters…Scored seven goals for Team USA in 2002 FINA World League and three at the 2002 FINA World Cup…Was a key member of Newport Water Polo Foundation's championship at the 2002 Men's Senior Nationals…Was 1st Team All- Conference in 2001 at UC Irvine…Earned collegiate All-American water polo honors in 2000 and 1998...Was member of UCI's 1st place 200-medley relay at the Big West Championships...Competed on UCI's swimming team 1997-1999... Big West Conference Champion in 50 and 100 freestyle in 1999... Earned Collegiate All-American Honors in 1999 and 1998 at UC Irvine under Coach Ted Newland...Captain of the UCI's water polo team which won a national title in his junior year…Led the MPSF Federation in saves in 1998...
