The purpose of The Haven is to nurture the spirit.  It contains original and classical work in poetry, prose, and digital art.  I began building this web site as an escape from depression over the loss of loved ones.  The writings are ones that helped me and are human expressions of life's stages and living life fully, such as:
      grief and suffering;
      joy of birth, marriage, friends, retirement;
      love and romance;
      renewal of the spirit;
      thankfulness, and;
      the goodness of God.
