|:: my trip to NY in 2002 ::|

This is my parents and me outside NBC Studios. We woke up extra early on Friday morning so that we could go to the Today Show and see Faith Hill who was performing for "Rocktober." I also got to see Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, whatever, and John McCain. It was pretty cool.

This is me and my Dad at Rockafeller Center, which is actually right behind NBC Studios. We didn't go ice skating or anything, but it was neat to be there.

This is my mom and me at Rockafeller Center. On TV it looks huge, but it's really not all that big.

Obviously this is the Statue of Liberty. I was miserably sick this day, and we waited in line forever right behind a bunch of middle school kids that reminded me of how cool you think you are when you're in 7th grade (but you're really not), so it wasn't the best morning.

This is my little brother, Ben, with the Manhattan Skyline behind him. Before September 11th you could have seen the World Trade Center. If you look closely you can see three buildings to the left that look really similar, that is about where the WTC used to stand.

These are pictures taken at Ground Zero. The one is this huge mural painted on the side of a building. The other is of where the buildings used to stand. It was kind of an unreal feeling being there, overwhelmingly sad.

This is my family at dinner at this Italian restaurant. I can't remember the name but it was really yummy. The people in the picture with us are actually my cousin's counsins, but I've known them my whole life. They took us to do the non-touristy things, like bowling at Chelsea Piers and shopping in SoHo.

Here's another picture of the family, this time outside of our hotel, the Wellington. Right next to our hotel was the best little bakery called Fluffy's. They had the best muffins.

This is me and my mom hanging out at Chelsea Piers where we went to bowl with the family. We were the two boring ones that didn't bowl, but everyone still had lots of fun.

Times Square.

My brother, mom and dad at La Guardia waiting to board the plan for the trip home. It was a fun vacation.
