My old college roommate, Janessa, visited Chicago for a weekend. This is Katie, Janessa, Shannon, and me at The Leg Room.

Goward also came for a little visit. This is Wags, Goward and me outside Gracie's.

Oscar and James at Morgan's Bar down by my work.

The Criminal Justice group at Lalo's to celebrate Jason's 28th birthday.

Me with Chelsea, Amanda, and Katie, celebrating Oscar's birthday at Hi-Tops.

Katie, Neil, and me with the Chicago skyline behind us on our way to the SUSI international dinner.

All the SUSI Participants after their international dinner. They come from approximately 30 different countries and spend a few months in America to learn about our culture and history.

The wonderful people that I work with everyday having a much deserved drink at Lalo's (and celebrating Neil's birthday).

Me, Katie and Janette at a White Sox game with the SUSI participants.

Me, Katie, Janette, Neil and Gil at the Sox game.

Playing B.S. at Katie's house 4th of July weekend.

I went out to Indiana to watch fireworks with Katie and her family for the 4th of July.

We went on the architecture tour with the SUSI participants and learned all about the architecture along the Chicago river.

Chelsea, me and Katie at Bin 36 for some wine.

Cameran and Rebekah got engaged May 15 outside the site of their pseudo first date, a little bar called Simon's.

Me and James at Cameron & Rebekah's engagement party.

Ruby's friend Nouha set up a little surprise birthday dinner for her at a restaurant called Iggys.
Here's the big group, and then a pic of the CRJ group (Amanda, Katie, me, Fetzer & Ruby)

Katie, her son Oscar, and me at Ruby's brithday dinner at Iggys.

Oscar Sr. and Oscar Jr. having a drink.

After the big comprehensive test all of us CRJ studetns went out for some much needed drinks.

Me and Little O, pumpin' some iron.

Lauren came to Chicago for a visit in January.
Here we are at Rockit. Apparently, it's where all the stars hang out.
We didn't see any.

Waiting for the bus.
Man was it cold.

When will people learn that I just don't dance?
I've got to give him credit for trying, though.

Katie, me and Chelsea at Hi-Tops in Wrigleville for Fetzer's birthday.

Amanda, Chelsea, Katie and me at Chelsea's apartment in celebration of her 25th birthday.

This is me, Dougherty, Katie, Chelsea and Ruby
out for brunch at Lou Mitchell's on my birthday.

Then we went out after class for some birthday drinks in Greek Town at Artopolis.
If you look near my right arm you can see the little birthday treat that they gave me.
It was this yummy yogurt tart type thing with once cute little candle.

This is me, Amanda, and Katie out by where Katie lives
near the Chicago/Indiana border at a bar called Benchwarmers.

Here is my little group of friends from UIC
(Chelsea, me, Katie, Fetzer, Dougherty, Ruby, and Amanda)
hanging out at Trader Todd's for a night of kareoke.

Chelsea and Dougherty were definately feeling the music
Then again, how can you not sing Total Eclipse of the Heart at the top of your lungs?

This is Kristiane and me behind the desk at work.
I really didn't feel like taking a picture, but I think it turned out alright.

June 19th marked the first of the Kappa Delta weddings.
Megan Nauslar and Michael Neitzel were married in Dallas and about 25 of us made the trip down for the wedding.
Here we are outside the church.

Here's Stacie and me at the reception at the Bent Tree Country Club.

Little Lauren and Kristen came to visit me for Memorial Day weekend.
Everyone who comes in town has to experience the Weiner Cirlce.
So, here we are enjoying our Chicago dogs and cheese fries (yum).
The kid in the picture is about to graduate high school and he's debating between KU and IU,
so we spent some time trying to convince him that he needs to become a Jayhawk.
He wants to walk on with the basketball team.
If you notice, he's shorter than I am, so we'll see how that works out.

Here we are at Franks enjoying some Coors light.
We made another stop at the Weiner Circle afterwards.

Here we are at Dunlay's on Clark.
They have this chocolate chip cookie dessert that is so delicious.
It's only half baked and served with ice cream, oh my gosh, yum!

It rained the day that Lauren and Kristen had to leave, so after we went to brunch we came back and hung out in my apartment.
We decided to try and figure out the timer on Lauren's camera.
It was kind of funny, but I guess you had to be there.

This is Chelsea, Katie, me, and Ruby at the Lucky Strike bowling alley.
We had a little get together with everyone from class.

These are my guy friends John (Fetzer) and John (Dougherty) at the Lucky Strike.

After the Lucky Strike we moved on to Trader Tod's which is a cross between the Sandbar and a kareoke bar.
Fetzer, Claudio and Katie sang In Da Club and we all did shotskis, it was a fun night.

I am currently trying to retire the flat iron. Here I am with some curls courtesy of Kristiane.
Hopefully one day soon I will be able to recreate this on my own.

Chaley, Mary and Wags came in town to visit Teresa, so I hung out with them for a night.
We went to the Burwood Tap, which is one of my favorite bars here in Chicago.
It's a laid back friendly atmosphere. And no DePaul kids, which is nice.

Teresa and I went out to the Liar's Club to see my friend Aaron's band play.
It wasn't the best venue for a show, but it was fun.

I went with Teresa and Ryan and his friends to this place called Whirly Ball.
Basically you get drunk and the hop into some bumper cars and try to stay alive.
I left bleeding from both my arm and my leg. It was painful but fun.

Me, Chelsea, and Katie at the Tin Lizzie. We went out for Fetzer's 25th birthday.
It was a fun night until we got to the Weiner Circle and some idiot got cheese all over the back of my coat
and Chelsea almost kicked his ass for being a jerk.

We went out for my friend Katie's 23rd Birthday.
First we went to Bar Chicago, which is probably the biggest meat market I've ever been to with little midgets all over the place.
We then moved on to Liar's Club, but first we stopped for a pic with Santa and his elf.

A group of Kappa Deltas came to visit me for the weekend.
This is all of us (except Krissa) the night they arrived.
We started out at Mickey's Snack Bar which has yummy buffalo chicken fingers and Thursday night karaeoke.

While attempting to use the bathroom at some guys' apartment we were suddenly attacked by spitballs.
This is Lindsey sheilding herself from the onslaught.

It's always fun when you're friends decide to have a dance off inside the bar.
This is Krissa and Mace, the dancin fiends.

Well, we went to Sedgwicks where we met a killer.
He said he couldn't take a picture becaue he's killed a man...what a stud...here he is ladies...

This is the killer attempting to kick Krissa out because she told him he was boring.
At first I thought it was a joke, but he was serious.
Out of all of us, Krissa is probably the last person he would want to pick an argument with.

If at first you don't get kicked out...try...try again.
This is Mace and she decided to rip the sign off the wall in order to get us kicked out.
It pretty much worked and we left soon after.

This is me and Mace at Sedgwicks, just hanging out on the couch.
I love bars in Chicago, they know that it's important to have a comfy place to sit.

This is a bunch of us at Bordos on Lincoln.

As if there wasn't enough violence for one weekend.

Krissa seems to be in need of some anger management.

Isn't Rafferty a cutie? She's so photogenic.

Here's me.

These are my friends Krissa and Mace, they seem to get along well.

This is Lindsey G. She had us all take self-portraits so here they are.

This is Rafferty

This is Stacie B

This is Krissa

This is me

This is Mace

John Barleycorn's is one of the bars on Lincoln that everyone seems to want to go to.
Here we all are, having a great time.

This is me and Jenny. She came and visited for a weekend in early September.
We went to this bar called the Lion's Head Pub because my friend Kristin was a shot girl.
Above the Lion's Head Pub is the Apartment. Both are pretty fun.

This is Jenny B. and me again, at the Apartment.
It's this bar on Lincoln that has beds and couches and TVs and Playstations.
It usually gets pretty busy, so we hung out more downstairs at the Lion's Head Pub,
but how often do you go to a bar that has beds, it's like Sex and the City!

The excitement of my Labor Day Weekend was DeMarais' visit and our outing to Wrigley Field.
Even though we didn't have actual seats, we made the best of standing room only.
After the Cubs lost to the Brewers we headed to the Cubby Bear for drinks. The ratio of old men to girls is unbelieveable.
I guess that makes for good odds when it comes to free drinks, though.

This is Kelly, Kristin, Jenny, Me and Lindsay at the bar/club/lounge called Catacombs.
It's a little spendy, but the decorations are cool. You feel like you're in an actual cave.
We went there after we partied in an old church for a few hours. There's always something new to do in Chicago.

This is Ashley and Jenny, the two people I hang out most with here in Chicago.
We go to this bar, Kincaids, a lot.
They have good drink specials, and it's a KU bar, which makes it feel a little like home.
