This is the Grand Lux Cafe. It's pretty neat on the inside. We sat right by the windows that you see in the picture. It was the coldest eating experience of my life but the food was good. They have this chocolate cake for desert that you have to order at the beginning of the meal, and then when you cut into it the chocolate oozes out. We had cheesecake instead.

We spent Superbowl Sunday at Dublin's. It was a fun little bar, not too crowded. We left at halftime and went back to the hotel and watched Gone With the Wind. I think we were both pretty tired from all the time we spent shopping that afternoon.

This is my mom and me at the Chop House. At first I wasn't a fan, we had to sit in smoking and apparently everyone in Chicago smokes cigars, but once the food came, I had no complaints. Usually I eat steak because I really like steak sauce, but I didn't even use any. I seriously had the best steak I have ever eaten. And the decor is fun - lots of mafia stuff and Al Capone pictures.

This is a picture of the sign outside of the Redhead Piano Bar. We didn't go in, I just really liked the name.

This is mom eating a Chicago Dog from Portillos. My dad always talks about how great they are, so we thought we would experience them for ourselves. They were pretty yummy. Good french fries, too.

This is me and my Chicago dog. I thought they were going to be a lot bigger, but they load on the toppings anyway. I think there were onions, relish, tomatos, peppers, mustard and maybe some other things, all piled onto a hot dog. Yum yum.

This is me and mom in our hotel lobby. We stayed at the Raphael. It wasn't super fancy, but I liked it. We got our moneys worth, and the door guys were really friendly. It was only a block from Michigan Avenue, so we were in the prime location for great shopping.

This is us outside the hotel right before we got into the cab and left for the airport. I was sad to leave, but hopefully I'll be back real soon to stay.

This is mom and I eating at Big Bowl. They have the best stir fry, and you get to pick your own ingredients, and also the best cold penut noodles. We always get the same thing every time we go.
