ORU Missions 2002
Sharing the heart of God with His creation

The Great Commission. We've all heard it. "Jesus said to His followers, 'Go everywhere in the world and tell the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved, but anyone who does not believe will be punished" (Mark 16:15-16, NCV).

Costa Rica: Testimony from Teen Mania
Of all the places I have been and the many people I have worked with, nothing compares to the excitement, energy or challenges I experienced this summer. I had the privilege of working with Teen Mania's Junior Missions (which is composed of teams of 11 to 13 year-old missionaries) in Costa Rica. During those event-filled two weeks, God moved mightily in my life and the lives of the missionaries.

"Look Closely"
Look closely and you will see me
Beyond the fear
Beyond the doubt
You will see me as I am.
Much more than what you thought
You will see the love I have for you.

American Modern Design exhibit comes to the Philbrook

Okay, so I didn't really feel like driving out to an art museum on a Friday morning, even though it wasn't that early. But by the time I was leaving the museum and driving back to campus, I was glad I'd overcome my laziness.

Where angels fear to tread: Matt Redman's latest CD
On ChristianityToday.com, the songwriter behind "Better is One Day" and "Let My Words Be Few" was quoted as saying, "I recently heard someone talking about the current 'worship trend.'" He is describing the current movement in Christian music circles in which artists are continually producing "worship" CDs. Even those who are contemporary Christian artists have jumped on the bandwagon of producing this type of album.
