Costa Rica
Testimony from Teen Mania
By Oshean Baker

Of all the places I have been and the many people I have worked with, nothing compares to the excitement, energy or challenges I experienced this summer. I had the privilege of working with Teen Mania's Junior Missions (which is composed of teams of 11 to 13 year-old missionaries) in Costa Rica. During those event-filled two weeks, God moved mightily in my life and the lives of the missionaries.

We spent the bulk of our days at elementary schools playing with children, ministering to adults and performing a drama depicting Jesus on the cross. At one school in the mountains, I took a moment to step back and observe my team doing ministry.

When I looked around, I saw a group of four Costa Rican girls sitting down, waiting for someone to talk with them. These moments are just God's divine appointments waiting to happen. I sat down with the girls and, in my broken Spanish, shared with them what God has done in my life and how much He loves them and wants to do the same in their lives. Each girl gave her life to the Lord that day, and I know that all of them have been eternally changed.
