The team house we stayed at in Juarez.
14 team members gathered in Wichita, KS and arrived in El Paso. From here we boarded a bus to go to Juarez. Here I am, all excited to go build the homes. Terry and I shook sand to mix with the water and cement. This was tiring work. We mixed mortar for the laying of blocks. The second day we walked about 2 miles, the children from the previous year's home led the way.
I made fast friends with the mijo. This is one of the lucky families to receive a new home. The house is directly behind them. Each family received a bible and a key to their new home.
