Mmmm mmmm good.
I had a very relaxing, quiet night last night. After Kirstin went to bed, Forest and I just listened to music and talked all night long. I really enjoy just bantering back and forth with him. I'm just perfectly at home in his company. It's nice.Parent teacher conferences left me a bit concerned. It seems Kirstin's teacher is a very experienced one, who cares a lot about her students, and is frustrated because she can't seem to get Kirstin to pay attention in class. So she thinks we should have Kirstin tested for learning disabilities. Apparently she's one of the smartest in class, and definitely the top reader, but something is getting in her way.
It's frustrating, because I know this. The kid is a daydreamer and always has been. I'm afraid they are going to label it ADD, and then try to talk me into drugging her. There's no way I want to do that.
