Last night's rehearsal went well past dark. We were stumbling over each other when all was said and done. Every night we have to strike all of our props, costumes, tents, and so on back to our cars, which is quite an effort, particularly in pitch moonless black darkness.
I'm quite worried and distracted today, because last night, the guy playing Lysander didn't show up at rehearsal. He wasn't at work or at home. He was just gone. It's a little scary. I hope he's okay. I think I'll call him, and see if he wants to get together and work lines, if only for my own benefit.
This is only Tuesday. It feels like the week should be over by now. Work has been a plague of unexplainable network phenomena that I have had to try to solve. Some of it was due to a bad UPS that was shorting out the building, it turns out. Some of it appears to be caused by our customized accounting software's being sensitive to a noisy NIC card, although I haven't yet found out exactly WHOSE NIC it is that is causing the problem. *sigh*
I just don't have the energy to share today. Hopefully after lunch I will feel more energetic.
