Deny me my daily sustenance.
Deny me the light
Deny me human warmth
Deny me that which I desire
Deny me the ability to be complete.
Give me the Dark
Give me the Cold
Give me Hunger
Give me Disease
Give me that which makes me ill.
I will not ask a penny more
I will dream a million dollars
Cruel Joke
You Tried to be my reason,
But you never completely meant it
a temptation of the salvation that was just
out
of
my
reach
A reminder of what I simply cannot obtain
A cruel joke.
The manifestations of loneliness and despair,
my abject view,
kept all your heart with you
and none for me
but to give.
What a cruel joke you are
Wish you'd just leave me
Wish I were either alone or in the crowd
Not in the crowd of soulless shells
wish my screams and tears didn't fall on deaf ears.
