I remember when we'd be friends forever
I remember when we were so young the sky could swallow us whole and trees
would hold us forever in their always loving arms.
I remember when everything was pleasantly flexibly permanent in our
kindergarten view of how absolutely perfect things would always be.
We never knew what would happen to us.
You, you fell farther than me, swallowed by this black cloud, that must've
always been at our heels
we never heeded the warnings
And now you've been sucked in by it
They all believe that you yourself did it
But I know, That girl i knew, the girl who was as lost in everything
beautiful as I was, she didn't do it...
no sir, that girl died long ago...that girl, was killed by parents that
didn't care, and lovers that weren't really there, and a friend who just
couldn't help.
The girl that fell to suicide...she was just a shell.
And I was there that day, it killed me too.
