Letters to Bill Gates

“Make handbooks for children on the internet”
Foreword
I wrote these letters to Bill Gates with great expenses for me. Firstly because I had to translate them professionally in english, then send them by special courier just in America, to Windows' Campus. So I spent that money being convinced that the man who entranced the world with his soft for personal computers, could help them not to die soon
(still being number one on the soft market).
I wrote three letters that were send
(during 1995)
and one is on the draft which, I think, will not be sent to The Great Gates of America, the Opener of Windows to the worlds of personal computers. And it is not that Bill Gates didn't even answer to one letter from three... The conflict between defenders of the idea of computerizing the whole world, creation of INFO HIGHWAYS (for example Bill Gates), and those who assert that these HIGHWAYS will multiply the disorder, violence, hatred, uncertainty and will bring near the tragic denouement (for instance Cousteau), takes proportions not only in the aspect of philosophical-scientific discussions to which the creators of INFO HIGHWAYS doesn't want to participate
(may be my letters were not put in his portfolio of "important things").
The increase of the sciences, the easier access to the whole complex of different information, the easiness to move from the nice armchair in your house to the shops from Singapore, Tokyo or Chicago with the help of informational networks
(everything about all politicians or businessmen, but also about all bananas, condoms, guns, portable atomic bombs, all about everything that is on sale),
the possibility of the man, to choose from one hundred, then from two hundred, then from one thousand channels on TV, the high-speed multiplication of the scandalous, sensational information, of the violent acts and natural catastrophes, made by this channels, the multiplication "decided" mostly by the persons with a reduced responsibility or by those who are looking for an immediate obtain of the profits, the creation of some "art works" in which the violence, the horror, the illusions, virtuality dominate and forms especially child's mind, the rapid removement of the Human Being from the nature, its closing in great MEGAPOLICES which can be destroyed from themselves
(drawing after them the whole humanity, as Umberto Eco truely remarks),
but also from an atomic bomb exploded by any terrorist trap, but also by any lied lover, by any who was born ugly
(Richard III syndrome),
or by a child who's mother got married with another person
(the script that was already shown in movies and described in the tales of adventure or science-fiction)
puts imperiously the problem of taking the decisions and responsibilities for the taken decisions.
Who decides if I or my children need the cruel, poor, superficial information, without the investigation of serious causes, about the atrocity's of Russian soldiers in Cecenia or those of Rwandan's in Rwanda? Who decides if the pornography must be multiply in the newspapers which are sold by children at every corner of Kishinau, Moscow or Bucharest? Who spread so intensely the ilusions of an civilizated life in great megapolices, the iluzion that allready created the conglomeration of tens of millions of people that can't be conducted, the real hotbeds of the Scoundrel? Who decides the puffery-advertisements of the cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, sexual libertinism, and even one kind of devilish life in a manner of "common sense" and " leave me to leave you" as the "masses" like?
These questions put a serious problem of taking the decisions and that's why in my letters I promoted the idea of DECISIONS HIGHWAYS, HIGHWAYS which can be created with the help of a computer armed with "the masterliness of Great Ether", as Plato said, HIGHWAYS which, minimizing drastically the Quantity of Information that must be studied by everyone who wants to take a decision will rise the Man's Certainties and Optimism.
This postulate is not a simple application of the principle of intedermination discovered by Heisenberg, but also a try to remind the man that the Cosmos moves on the matrix of its divine schemes in a manner that gives more chances to the Beautiful, that the man is a part of the Cosmos both with his body and the mind of that body, that the Cosmos will tolerate the man as long as he does is not hated by It, the Cosmos, very much.
May be, it depends on such people as Bill Gates
(that already have the access to hundreds of millions of souls of the people that use the computer, through the soft they made),
if Info Highways will be "governed" by HIGHWAYS OF DECISIONS, also put in the soft, may be even in the crystal of the processor. That's why I wrote this letters and I don't mind if the creator of Windows didn't answer me. In USA, in Philippine, in Russia, and where ever people live, exist enough terrible children connected directly with the Cosmos who, without a superior school, will discover the soft of HIGHWAYS of taking Decisions just like the cherry flower found the blossoming in five petals. These children will overcome Bill, although I believe, Bill is young enough to take himself some Decisions AntiBill. And this written text is just the fifth letter
(provocative, that's for sure),
addressed to The Great Bill. To whom we remind that the crossroads were, are and will be so hard to pass

(Our peasants from Moldova still the crossroads with the crucifixions, they bring a sacrifice to Jesus on the cross like an offering).
