Manny Johnson's Background
 
I was very young when I was born, and consequently didn't begin to play until several years thereafter.  I continued in this manner for quite some time, finally realizing that my career choice was dangerous, unhealthy, and not at all lucrative.  I had to face facts.  I was hooked!
 
Since then I've played a lot of music in a lot of places, watched styles and eras come and go, was a part of some, and survived most.
