=?
so, if you didn't already know dave has set up a live journal. no i'm not killing this blog, i refuse, and i don't care if it's a hastle.

silly boy that dave.

andre said something, somewhat coded about baseball or something. stickball perhaps. i think he should clarify, so dave can make plans.

ah plans.

90's albums that stand the test of time(IMHO):

pearl jam, ten
nirvana, unplugged
weezer, blue

those are the best, for me, anyway. i know i'm missing some, but those i love.

about that time? right-o
so, everyone's being brought down by everyone tonight. i guess i'll through in on this.

i'm done the first of 4 exams. but more importantly, the first of 3 in 3 days which all start BEFORE 9AM!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!

meh.

no biggy.

i owe the library 10 bucks. the ryerson library over charges late fines. sigh. gotta pay or no grades.

i studied alot this week, and made time to chat or hang with people tonight, but no one was really around. no one called. i should have called colin, but i was kinda wanting to see in a certain someone else might call. but i understand why she didn't. it just made for a boring evening, considering the leafs sucked it up in the 3rd.

my plans are changing around like... something or other... no d&d next week on tuesday. stuff is up in the air.

life is the monkey on your back, when you don't brush your teeth.

i think.

stevie ray vaughan is, for those who don't know, another guitar genius. another one who we lost early. he produced slightly more work then jimi managed. (poor jimi, only 3 1/2 studio albums).

anyway, more blues then most, he's work is full of passion. full of soul, full of a guitar which sings and weeps and yells and dances. he is exciting with his guitar.

soon, i will share with you all the album i just bought. but, my 2 week bookings deal is back in effect, i'm really busy coming up, with people coming home and what not, and finding a job, fixing my computer, moving out, who knows.

sigh

the great friday
music will make you deaf, played at the volume done today. my fathers friend ian, from way back in the day is a musican and likes to invite people into his basement to jam. a great premise, of course...
ian is, however going deaf, top down. he's losing his trebles, so he cranks them. i think we hurt his feelings when we told him he needed to turn down, several times. he's a good player, but he can't hear well. oh well.

my old friend jeff was there. i've always been envious of him. he's the son of my dads drummer. taller, blonde. when we we're little, he was the better baseball player. during highschool, he became a semi-pro squash player, now he's a killer guitar player. i don't know if i'm rationalising when i say this, but i think he's just naturally really fast and has good coordination. he's all self taught, i think. anyway, he traded licks on some blues. some with me on sax, some on guitar.
he was playing little wing when i had to leave, as stevie ray vaughan played it. it was good to see him, and he's going to call me about playing sax with him this summer, after exams. he's got a band in london (he goes to western) that pay pubs and stuff. we'll see.

anyway, the jam was fun. i got to play with chas elliot... holy shit that was cool. that may can play bass. that was like playing with jim or nancy, only this was just for fun, not for performance. it was like when we used to jam with sax-god-chris.
we totally rocked out oyo como va.

i needs more music in my life guys, ripping it up today was blissful. i wish i could do that untill my hands fell apart.

fixing a hole where the rain gets in,
stops my mind from wondering,
where it will go...

and it really doesn't matter if i'm wrong,
i'm right
where i belong
i'm right...
