December 28th, 2002 - Marco

Guten Tag, thats german for hello. I'm taking german lessons along with our manager Adam Saint. You see we are going to Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) in the beginning of March with the school. Been a while since I last wrote, well thats it, until next time...

December 24th, 2002 - Joey

Hey everyone. The show at L'X is no longer on the 14th of February, but the 7th. Just wanted to update you on that. Happy holidays.

December 20th, 2002 - Rob

Hi, it's Rob. Been a while. Been busy. Get back to you soon.

December 16th, 2002 - Joey

Lots of new pictures up on the pics and instruments pages. More to come, as Emilio Ciacciarelli is now our official scanner. We're gonna add many more pics in the coming weeks. See ya.

December 8th, 2002 - Adam

Good day mate. I, Adam Saint, shall be making my premiere update, and use my profound english skills as manager. Or I can make fun of Chad Muska with his Muska beatz yo dawg. Well I'm gonna go around adding some stuff about me and robert looking like a rabid bear/pig/i don't know with his magical hoof. And go check out Limpskater.

December 5th, 2002 - Joey

Well, Adam Saint is our official manager. Let's have a round of applause. Adam will get 80% of our profits and ask life's pressing questions such as, "which animal does Rob resemble most?" Stay tuned.

December 1st, 2002 - Joey

Battle of the Bands pics are up! There are 4 for now, but we're gonna scan a bunch very soon. Not to mention the 5 or 6 other pics lying on my desk. Gotta find a scanner, fast! Anyways, check them out right here. Also, we finally hit 10,000 hits, so thanks to all our visitors! See ya.

November 29th, 2002 - Joey

Battle of the Bands was today, and it was great! We didn't win, but we had a hell of a good time and we got the crowd chanting a few times. I can't say I'm not disappointed, but I think we pulled off a good show and we can't wait for the next one. Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and made it possible.

November 28th, 2002 - Joey

Well, the Battle of the Bands is tomorrow. Can't really say I'm nervous, but I can't wait. I hope everything turns out well. Added a poll to the main page: what do you think of the name "Zealous Apathy"? Some people like it, some hate it, so give us your opinion. Made a new banner with the choice you guys made, so Banner 6 it is. See ya.

November 23rd, 2002 - Joey

Practice coming up this Sunday, last practice before the Battle of the Bands at VMC this Friday. The lineup will be Black Sabbath's Paranoid, AC/DC's TNT, and Guns N Roses' My Michelle. I added a link to the links page, CKY Bass Tabs. I added some page anchors, and I'm in the process of adding some random stuff. Check it out.

November 11th, 2002 - Joey

The poll is pretty one sided, 14 votes for banner 6. We won't stop now, though, so vote if you haven't already. Mike's guitar has been delayed, so we'll have to wait a little longer for it. Shouldn't be too long, hopefully. Happy Remembrance day.

November 7th, 2002 - Marco

Well I guess there's no practice this weekend because Mike gotta go somewhere and well we can't practice without him. Only three more practices left before the Battle of the Bands. Well thats it, until next time...

October 27th, 2002 - Rob

I just want to say that I'm glad this band is finally moving forward. Yesterday was a very interesting band practice, "laid back" I believe were the words that Joey used to describe it. Well it was, we learned a new song, an original, for now it's an instrumental until I can come up with lyrics that are worthy of it. (It really is a really good instrumental and I wouldn't want to add lyrics to it unless they will make it better). We took some new pictures and soon Joey will post them on the site for all to see. We're going to take some individual pics soon and some crazy ones to. They'll be fun to see. Gday mate!

October 26th, 2002 - Joey

Hey, we practiced today. Pretty laid-back practice, just working on some new songs and taking picture which will soon be put up for all to see. I also added a new poll to the index. Check out all of the banners and vote for the one which looks best. Thanks, see ya.

October 20th, 2002 - Joey

Hey everyone. I updated the Bio page, and Mike added his section in the Instruments page. See ya.

October 20th, 2002 - Mike

Hey... We had a really good band pratice this saturday :D. We concentrated more this pratice and enjoyed it. Marco had trouble with the ending of " Metro " and we helped him with it like a real band... and guess what... we succeeded! Marco nailed it now so we got it down nicely. " Paranoid " is easy enough so we got that well. The Hives is simple so we also got that down. Now we just need to decide on our last 2 songs ( or 1 depending on the time we got ) and that's it! It's probably gonna be a CKY song, since they rule!... back to school for me... till next week-later.

October 19th, 2002 - Marco

Hi, Marco here. Well, go check out the instruments page. I modified my drums and added another surprise instrument. Check out the page to find out. Anyways we had another practice today and we've got Metro from System, Paranoid, and Hate To Say I Told You So down almost perfectly. Rob improved on his singing which is a plus. It also strengthens our decision about who we should have in our our band.

October 12th, 2002 - Joey

Hey there. No practice this weekend, as I was busy at my aunt's today, and Mike is busy tomorrow. We'll probably practice Paranoid next weekend, so until then, see ya.

October 5th, 2002 - Rob

Hey there it's me Rob. Well as you all already know the band has been reduced to only four members, myself, Joey, Marco and Mike. Jason and Eric have left the band by a decision from Marco, Joey, and Mike, as well as myself. Like Joey already said, Jason was not kicked out of the band forceably, it was a vote on how the band would survive best. Fortunately for myself and Mike, the original two band members stayed. I will miss Jason dearly because he was the one who drove me to improve. He made me less shy and gave me more confidence to do whatever I want and not to be afraid of what others would think. He taught me the basic rule of just, "screaming your friggin ass off and sing as loud as you can whenever you feel like it... then blast who doesn't like it with a BOLT 3 MUTHA FUGGA!" We're acting as if he's dead or something. WE'RE GONNA SEE HIM MONDAY! Well now the band will be moving more smoothly since there is less conflict. See ya later alligator.

October 5th, 2002 - Joey

Hey. As Jason commented, he is no longer a part of Zealous Apathy. What it ultimately came down to was between Jason and Eric, or Robert and Mike. It was a hard decision, but Marco and I eventually decided upon keeping Mike and Rob. Jason was in no way kicked out because we wanted him out, but simply because we had to pick. We had too many members; We decided to stick with the original members. Jason will be missed, as will Eric, but we'll move on. Mike will be filming a music video for college, and it'll basically be us playing Marmalade from System of a Down. It'll be done pretty professionally, with the original song dubbed over it. We're still planning out for the battle of the bands, but we have a clear idea and we'll start working on them tomorrow. See ya.

October 5th, 2002 - Jason

Heya Everyone, this is just Jason, saying goodbye to anyone who gives a damn. As of today, I am offically no longer a member of zealous apathy. I'll be around somewhere, lurking in the shadows. To the rest of the band: We never really made it as far as I would like, and I appreciate you keeping me around for so long out of pity for me, but I see now that pity was all it was. Should have told me sooner, but hey shit happens right? I'll see you all around somewhere. Goodbye for now, but not forever, I am that man you fear.

--Sincerely, Jason a.k.a nosaJ/Hybrid.

September 27th, 2002 - Joey

Hey, just to bring you up to date a little, we signed up for the VMC Battle of the Bands. It'll be on November 29th, and we're constantly practicing. We're still not 100% sure what we're gonna play, but we have an idea. We're picking some songs to play for our 15 minutes set, and we're looking at Sugar from System of a Down, Bulls on Parade by Rage Against the Mahcine, Paranoid by Black Sabbath, maybe some Red Hot Chili Peppers, and perhaps a hint of the Hives. Anwyays, we have a while, so we'll be practicing and picking our favorites. Eric is practicing full-time for now, so we'll see what happens with him. See ya.

September 14th, 2002 - Joey

Hey, I'm here with Marco. We practiced today - no Eric - and pretty much planned out some songs we wanna play at the battle of the bands. We're looking at Marmalade from System of a Down, Hate to Say I Told You So from the Hives, and 6 to 8 from AFI. We're still not sure of some songs, but we'll be practicing those a lot in the coming weeks. Jay got his Jackson and better get a Marshall for his birthday in October. Meanwhile, Robert (who we now call Walter for no apparent reason) still doesn't have a freaking amp and we have to sacrifice one of our amps for him. I also added a poll Marco came up with on the main page. Check it out.

September 13th, 2002 - Jason

Hey Everyone, first off, happy Friday The 13th! Go kick back and watch some old horror movies with some friends! In band related news, I GOT MY FUGGIN JACKSON. She's a real beauty. I have to think of a name for her, I think she wants Sarah for a name but she can't make up her mind. I'll have pics up in the instruments section soon. Tomorrow we'll be holding practice, and a good friend of mine, Eric, will be attending, and trying to sing. Who knows he might even replace Rob. Like Marco mentioned, we'll be participating in some battle of the bands soon, and if our luck holds up, we might even participate in a battle of the bands being sponsered by a local radio station...99.9 The Buzz. For those that catch it, tune in and find out about the Battle Of The Bands in Montreal. That's all for now! *exeunts stage right*

September 1st, 2002 - Marco

Hello. I'm finally back from vacation and school already started. Robert better get an amp soon or else he will suffer the consequences. But at least he has a job. I'm planning on getting a cowbell for my set some time soon. Jay still didin't get his Jackson and we are very impatiently waiting. We're planning to play at two Battle of the Bands which are around December so we'll be practicing for that a lot. So thats about it, c ya.

August 29th, 2002 - Rob

Hey nothing new yet. We're gonna have an interesting practice this weekend, maybe we can get some more stuff done, i'll be singing with and amp cuz my good freind Nadia is coming to watch and she's bringing her amp and mic so i can use it. I'll update soon.

August 26th, 2002 - Rob

I'm Rob, this is my first time posting here to. I'll tell you exactly what's going on with the band. We all happy pretty crappy equipment except for Joey, he's the only one with a decent guitar(bass) and amp. Jay's Nevada sucks, but his Jackson is really good, even though we never saw it or heard him use it before, thanks to the poor craftsmanship of montrealers... Mike's amp and guitar is good but he wants new stuff. As for me, i have no mic or amp. LET'S ALL LAUGH AT THE FAT GUY! I will be getting one soon though. Also we have been woking on some originals, 2 actually. We've nearly completed both but we still need to work on them. We have only 2 covers done, Snowblind from SOAD and Marmelade from SOAD. We're working on Hate to say i told you so from The Hives and maybe then we'll do something from AFI. I went to see Tsunami Bomb live this weekend, THEY ROCKED! Poor joey didn't get to go even though he knew about them before i did and actually heard some stuff from them before, before the concert i never heard any of their songs, but now i absolutly LOVE THEIR STUFF! They're really good. Go check them out at www.TsunamiBomb.com. And don't worry about the Magic Cave of no return, it's not all that scary, Neither is that Sexual Harrasment Panda... But i do suggest you look out for the Pyscho Junkie Monkeys who are hocked up on the magical liquid that makes you crash into trees!

August 19th, 2002 - Jason

Well, This is my first time updating here, so hello all you desprate people. I'm kidding, I love you people who actually come here. Well, as far as equipment goes, we have nothing new, I got my Jackson, but thanks to the incompetent french people who didn't screw on the bridge properly, as soon as I used the tremelo, snap. No more bridge. Booo for Jason. Lately, we've been working on some original stuff, if all goes well, we might even record a demo and put it up. That, of course, is only if you can get through the magic cave of no return, and obtain the Sexual Harasment Panda. Good luck!

July 27th, 2002 - Joey

Not much has happened since the show. We just had practice and we're working on a bunch of new songs. Jason sent his Jackson to a custom shop, and should have his new, finished guitar tomorrow.

July 10th, 2002 - Joey

The show at Leonardo da Vinci was a success! It was really fun and we got a pretty good response from the hundred or so there. We played Snowblind from System of a Down and besides a few sound problems early on it sounded better than we would have expected. Video of it should be up soon. Pics page redone.
