fill it in and take to Zoe Horton, Hill Cottage, Moon Hall Road, Ewhurst, GU6 7NP on or before
Thursday 11th September. Tel. 277960 or to "Malricks", The Street, Uwhurst
Exhibits to be staged between 8.30am and 10.15 am on Saturday

SECTION I: HORTICULTURE (Open)
1. VEGETABLES AND FRUIT (Open)
- A collection (24” x 24” max. ) of four kinds of vegetable, one of each kind. Each item to be marked out of 10 points.
- Four potatoes, one variety
- Twelve shallots (excluding pickling)
- A vase of five stems of mixed culinary herb
- Three carrots
- Six runner beans
- Garlic, three bulbs
- Three onions 8 oz or under
- Three onions over 8 oz
- Three leeks
- Three beetroot
- A plate of three tomatoes (with calyx)
- A plate of six tomatoes (miniature variety with calyx)
- Any vegetable not mentioned above, number optional
- A plate of three desert apples
- A plate of three cooking apples
- A plate of any fruit other than apples
- Heaviest Potato
- Most misshapen vegetable
SECTION II FLOWERS AND POT PLANTS (Open)
- Largest leaf, from your garden(measured by area)
- A specimen bloom chrysanthemum
- A vase of three disbudded chrysanthemums
- One stem of spray chrysanthemum
- A vase of three stems of spray chrysanthemums. Any variety or varieties
- A vase of hardy perennials, max. 9 stems, one or more kinds
- One dahlia over 200mm diameter(giant or large)
- Three dahlias between 150mm & 220mm diameter(medium), one or more varieties
- Three decorative or ball dahlias up to 170mm diameter (small or miniature), one or more varieties
- Three cactus/semi cactus dahlias up to 170mm diameter (small or Miniature), one or more varieties
- Three pompon dahlias up to 52mm, one or more varieties
- Three dahlias, any other group not mentioned in classes 26-30
- A display of mixed dahlias
- A rose bloom, large flowered
- A vase of three stems of large flowered roses, one or more varieties
- Floribunda rose, one stem
- A vase of any kind of flower not mentioned above, not more than nine stems
- A vase of mixed garden flowers
- A vase of foliage and/or berries/seed heads
- A cactus or succulent
- A pot plant in flower
- A pot plant foliage
- A pot plant in fruit
SECTION III -FLORAL ART (Open)
- "Rhapsody in Blue" – a miniature exhibit not exceeding 4” overall, open staging
- “Under the Greenwood Tree”, an exhibit of foliage to be staged in a niche, 24” wide, 36” high
- “Antique Road Show”, incorporating an historical item, exhibit to be staged in a niche. width 24”, height 36”
SECTION IV - PHOTOGRAPHY (Open)
- “Wood”
- “Summer Show”
- “Riverside View”
- “Farm / Garden Machinery”
- “An Insect (close-up) - up to A4 in size”
Taken by the exhibitor, the exhibit not previously to have won a prize at one
of the Society's shows. Unmounted, max size 7" x 5" colour.
SECTION V - HOME FARE (Open)
- A fruit cake
- Six cheese scones
- A plate of six plain meringues (no cream)
- Six jam tarts (short crust pastry)
- A loaf of teabread
- A pot of fruit jelly
SECTION VI - CHILDREN'S CLASSES (Open) (please state age)
- (Pre-school) A fingerprint painting
- (6 yrs and under) Leaf Rubbing
- (13 yrs and under) Origami
