Can you relate to that moral code? If you can, chances
are you're a selfish ***hole! Oh, and most of the rest of mankind probably
hates your guts too!
I'm sure most of the rest of us can think of someone like this. They're the
kind of people that would steal anything that wasn't nailed to the floor
if they thought they could get away with it. Drop something on the ground,
and if they think there'll be no consequences they'll pocket it; even if
they know who it belongs too. The only thing that stops them from errupting
into an orgy of drunken sex for the rest of their lives is the fact they
probably wouldn't get away with it. These people use and abuse.
To these people, the greater good, and the needs of others, is something
they just can't understand.
And to make the whole thing worse, they can't really understand higher level
moral (yet still immoral) codes like
sheep mentality,
unquestioning loyalty to the law, or
rebellion out of self discovery. The only reason
Authoritarian Conservatives are still in business
is to keep these moral degenerates in check!
So just imagine building an economic system based on
this lowest common denominator morality? Well guess what; there is. And it's
called Capitalism.
Meet Capitalism: Social Immorality
with a golden arches smile
...and coming soon to a 3rd world country near you!
Screw the good of society, screw the good of the economy, or the environment,
when there's a dollar to be made! When you think about level 2 morality,
it's in its most basic form in corporations (profits = good, losses = bad...
larger principles? What's that?!). Seriously, when I see a pop music loving
level 3 who lap teenie bopper, or hear stories
of 3rd world exploitation, I don't know who to be angrier with: the moral
degenerates who think it's A-okay to shill the exploitation of others, culture,
or society for a quick buck; or the degenerate level 3 morons it up!
Capitalism is Feudalism in new clothes...
True Story
Some people like to delude themselves, and say that in a Capitalist society,
the best rise to the top. I say, what about Lachlan Murdoch?
