CHAPTER 9:
* Four Hours Later*
" Are you guys with AJ McLean?"
" Yes."
" Well, we have good news. He's doing fine, but he lost 59% of his blood. But otherwise he is doing good, and should be home in atleast a week maybe a week and a half."
" Can we go see him?" Courtney asked.
" Only one at a time." The doctor said smiling and walking away.
Courtney stood up as everyone else nodded letting her know it was all right that she went in first. She opened the door too his room and saw him on the hospital bed with all these wires connected to him, and IVs. She sat down next to his bad and watched him sleep. He seemed peaceful, with a little smirk on his face(yeah, that really sexy 'omg I wanna lick him up!' one,lol). Courtney sat just looking at him continuing to run her fingers through her hair. She thought about the baby and how lucky she was that AJ didn't die because she seriously didn't want to be a single parent or have her kid grow up with out her real father. AJ's eyes started to flutter as he began to wake up taking Courtney away from here thoughts. He saw her and smiled. " Hi AJ." Courtney said returning the smile.
" W..here am I?"
" You're in the hospital.."
" Am I OK?"
" Yes, they removed the bullets from your body, but you can't go back home for another week and a half because you lost of 50% of your blood." Courtney said as his eyes widened when he remembered why they were even in Texas.
" Where is J-"
" They're dead.. they all are." She cut in as his body relaxed. She heard tapping on the glass window in the door, and told AJ she'd be right back.
She stepped out side and was confronted by every one else. " How is he??"
" He just woke up from sleeping. He's fine. He's just really week." Courtney said.
" Thank God." Brian said.
" Well, is that all because I'd like to spend more time with my boy friend. If you guys don't mind."
" No, go ahead. We're going to go get something to eat. We'll see you later." Tina said.
Courtney stepped back in and sat back down. AJ noticed the bandage around Courtney's arm and asked, " What happened to your arm sweety?"
" Justin shot me in the arm, I'll be fine though just stiches."
" OK Good."
Silence filled the room. Courtney looked at AJ in the eyes, staring at him. There eyes said bassically everything for them. " You look tired AJ."
" I am."
" Well, I guess I should go find the others in the caffeteria, and let you get some rest ok?"
" OK. I'll see you later." AJ said yawning.
" You bet." Courtney smiled kissing his forehead, and left the room.
* A week and a half later*
Nothing much really happened that week, the doctors hardly let anyone visit AJ that long because he really really needed rest. The cops had found the bodies of the N'syncers but predicted it was all suicide. It made them feel guilty, but then remembered the whole reason they were dead now, and agreed they got what they gave. They also had gotten a mini-van for driving back to Florida.
Today was AJ's release day from the hospital. AJ had seemed to have gotten way way stronger than he was when they first brought him to the hospital. Courtney was in the room with the others about to fill out with the release form so AJ could be released. " OK first I have some things you need to do."
" Yeah. I can do anything you tell me to."
" OK. Well, first of all C O M P L E T E bed rest for one whole day, 24 hours . He only should be getting up to use the bathroom. Otherwise you can fix him breakfast, and anything else."
" MM Hmm." Courtney agreed.
" Also, one of you two is going to need to put rubbing alcohol on his wounds twice a day, it helps them heal faster. I understand he has a gunshot wound on his back, that one you'll have to do Courtney."
" OK, Anything else?"
" No that's it. Just fill out these four things, sign and he is free to go back home." The doctor said reaching over the bed to hand her a clipboard with the form on it. She filled it out and handed it back to the doctor."OK. You take care guys."
" You too."
" Bye."
Courtney handed AJ a pair of jeans and a shirt. He got up and went in the bathroom to put it on, and when he came out they left. The whole drive back to orlando was boring, they slept most of the time for being out there for three days killing off Nsync with no rest what-so-ever. They drove strait home with no stops to sleep overnight. They got to each of there homes around 3am in the morning. AJ and Courtney were the last to get home because they lived so far out from everyone else.
" I'm tired as hell." Courtney stated falling back on the bed.
" Well, then sleep." AJ said joining her beneath the covers.
He put his arms around her and said, " Good night Courtney."
" Night AJ. I love you."
" I love you too." AJ said back kissing her lips softly before she turned off the light and feel to sleep.
The next day at about 2pm Courtney had woken up when AJ got out of bed to go use the restroom, but she closed her eyes and laid there more asleep then she was awake. It seemed to her like AJ had been in there forever, 20 minutes atleast. She was about to get up and go check on him when he came out holding a pregancy test in his hand, " What's this?" He asked sitting next to her on the bed.
" You know what it is. It's negative anyways."
" How old is this?"
" Like a month. I took it like a week before all that shit with Justin started."
" Ohhh. Anyways... How is your arm this morning?"
" It's fine. You?"
" Couldn't be better." AJ said with a not so convincing smile on his face. Courtney laughed slightly at his effort to try to make her feel better. But he couldn;t make her feel better. She really wanted to tell him, she knew how, it was just... she didn't know how he'd react to it.
" Uh... AJ."
" Huh?"
" Umm... I have something to tell you."
" Is it good or bad?"
" You might find it bad but to me it's like really really good."
" OK shoot." AJ said lying back down on the bed as Courtney took in a deep breath.
" Um... ok. Well you know that night we had at the beach house?"
" Uh huh."
" Well... uh.. we didn't really use protection-"
" What are you getting at?"
" AJ, well, I...I'm-"
" Pregnant?"
" Yeah, I'm pregnant."
" It's mine?"
" Yes, it's your kid." Courtney said, she hadn't even looked at him the whole time affraid of his expression.
AJ stood up when he heard the words and started yelling, a happy type of yelling. " I'm gona be a daddy! YAY!"
" Don't scare me AJ." Courtney joked as AJ pulled her up off the bed still yelling.
" I can't believe it. I thought I'd never have kid-" AJ said untill he grabbed his chest and winced.
Courtney helped him into the bed laughing at him. " What's so funny?"
" You."
" Why am I funny all of the sudden?"
" You got so excited about the fact your going to be a father you forgot about the bed rest."
"Yea I did."
" Well atleast I know you don't hate me or something."
" I'd never ever hate you."
" I know. It's just some guys will get girls pregnant find out and never talk to them again."
" Oh I see. Well, you know I'm not like that at all."
" I know." Courtney said kissing his forehead.
" So what are we going to do about this?"
" Do about what?"
" You being pregnant."
" Well, AJ, there is only one answer."
" Yeah there is." AJ said smiling. " Courtney, marry me."
" Yes." She said outloud. She really didn't think marraige is what he had in mind. " I had no clue your were going to say that." She said lying next to him on the bed.
" Surprise." He softly said kissing her lips. There lips locked forever till they slipped their tongues in eachothers mouths. It wasn't a long kiss, but it made them both happy.
" Should I call the boys and tell them?" Courtney asked.
" Yeah. But tell them I am asleep."
" Why?"
" Because I am about to go to sleep." AJ smilled.
Courtney bent down and kissed him forehead. " OK Babe."

CHAPTER 10:
It's been three hours. She had some trouble reaching the boys, so far she'd reached three and was in the process of looking for Brian. She dialed his apartment, his sell, tried to page him. " Tina??" She asked herself picking up the phone dialing Tina's number. She was a little nervous she'd interupt them, but figured this was a little more important. " H...ello?" Tina said breatlessly.
" Oh My Gosh!" Courtney laughed. " Is your boyfriend their with you?"
" Yes!"
Courtney laughed. " DAMMIT COURTNEY! I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING HERE!"
" Yeah, in the middle of Brian's legs!" Courtney laughed. She couldn't help it, she had never interupted her friend like that before.
" Dammit I'm hanging up."
" Tina, this is important. I promise."
" Ok, what is it?"
" Turn on your speaker phone."
" OK, hold on."
" Ok it's on."
" Hey what's up B-rockin my best friend!"
" Shut up!"
" Ok guys, sheesh, I'm just finding this hularious which your not. But anyways here is what was so important."
" Yea- what?"
" AJ and I. We're getting married."
" Holy! No shit?!?" Tina said.
" Na.You know he's like sleeping and I am just wanted to tell you this dream where AJ and I got married and then our kinky wedding night. Of coarse we are. I would never lie about that!"
" AHHHHHHH!" Tina screamed.
" Dyamn she reacted worse than AJ did." Courtney slipped out remembering Tina didn't know.
" What you proposed to him?"
" No."
" What do you mean?"
" I mean, AJ's going to be a Daddy. Of my kid."
" Holy!" Tina yelled as Courtney could hear Brian laughing his ass off at Tina in the background.
" You going to be OK back there Brian?" Courtney asked.
" N..No."
" Hey Brian, I didn't know this, just let me over react."
" OK."
" Courtney, this is great!"
" I know." Courtney said.
" Well, Courtney. I gotta get back. So I'll see you later ok?"
" OK TINA! HAPPPY CAMPING!" Courtney joked as Tina busted out laughing.
" Of coarse. Happy Trail." Tina laughed.
" Ok bye Tina." Courtney manages to say through laughs.
" Bye."
Courtney hung up the phone and collapsed on the couch laughing. She yawned and soon fell to sleep within 10 minutes.
" Babe wake up."
" Huh..huh?"
" It's morning."
" Oh gosh really?"
" Yea. You slept all afternoon yesterday."
" I'm sorry AJ."
" It's OK. I didn't need anything anyways. And now, I don't need bed rest anymore. "
" Is that good?"
" Yes. I've missed being healthy and having time with only you." he smiled.
" Me too." Courtney said back. AJ caressed her cheek with his hand and moved a strand of hair behind her ear before he softly kissed her on the lips." I love you Courtney."
"I love you too." Courtney whispered into his ear.

CHAPTER 11:
Two Years later:
AJ and Courtney have been married for almost two years now. The wedding was small with not much. Courtney just gave birth to there first son, Dylan James but DJ for short about a year and two months ago. They both lived in a house on Clearwater.
Right now it's a hot sunny day. Everyone is at the beach getting sun and swimming. Brian is off with Tina and Nick helping DJ play in the sand. Kevin and Howie are throwing a football while Courtney is laying down getting a tan talking to AJ. " Don't they look so cute over there?"
" Uhh, no."
" How can that not be cute. Nick just fell on Brian and DJ just jumped on Nick and Brian is yelling get off me and Tina is laughing her but off."
" OH! THEM. Yeah, they're cute. I thought u meant those two gay guys over there."
" What? No. They aren't even close to cute. Anyways, I have my own hottie to look at."
" Mind I ask who that lucky hottie would be?"
" You."
" Oh damn, how'd I become so lucky.." AJ said kissing Courtney.
" Same way I became lucky." She said inbetween kisses.
" I hope I will stay this lucky,"
" You will, you will."
The next three months they were on tour and Courtney and DJ went with them. After that that broke up for two years, each of them released there own solo albums and had atleast two hits off of them. When they reunited they made and awesome album, releasing it world-wide. It wasn't big as there last album which they put 25 tracks on. By the time they released two singles off of there second album, everyone else had gotten married. Brian to Tina, Kevin to Tara, Nick to Megean, and Howie to Charlotte................... the rest is all a matter of time.
