by Bev Amoroso Iowa Business teachers are invited to the annual Fall 2002 IBEA Convention, October 18 & 19, Des Moines Airport Holiday Inn. "United in 2002" is the theme that will bring us together to learn from professional sessions, to network with friends, and to share with colleagues from across the state. Iowa’s own Chuck Offenburger is slated as the keynote speaker for the opening session and will present a break-out session immediately following. The Convention Committee has been hard at work engaging speakers and presenters; contacting exhibitors, planning decorations, menus, social events, and favors; and attending to the myriad of details involved in organizing a conference of this size – all volunteer efforts from busy, committed Business Education teachers! Make the 2002 IBEA Convention a success by your attendance! Emphasize the importance of your attending with your administrators and request leave as soon as possible in the fall. Through the "unity" of business education can we tell the stories of our classroom and professional efforts. See you in the fall for what will be a gathering of professionals "United in 2002!" |
