Summary: Saiyan Saga

These are the summaries that I have written. Please don't copy it and put it on your page. From the saiyan saga to the end of the Freeza saga, I watched DBZ in English on Cartoon Network. But from the Garlick Jr. Saga and on, I watched it in Japanese on the International channel and since I don't understand Japanese, I just look at the pictures and watch what happens so the dialogue might be a bit off. But otherwise everything should pretty much be accurate. For the Freeza Saga, it will be updated daily and the andriod saga weekly on Sundays.

[Saiyan Saga]

Arrival of Raditz:
Dragonball Z begins as a reunion on Master Roshi's island. Everyone from the dragonball series. Goku is there too but he also has with him a little boy that has a 4-starred dragonball on his hat. We soon find out that his name is Gohan and that he is the son of Goku and his wife Chichi. Everyone starts talking about whats been going on, especially with Goku. On another spot on earth, Piccolo meets up with a stranger who is looking for some guy named Kakarot. Piccolo wants to battle this guy and fires the strongest blast he can fire. This guy does not even have a scar on his body. Then just when the stranger is about to attack, he picks up a high power level reading on his scouter. He flys away and Piccolo sighs a relieve. The stranger ends up going to Master Roshi's island and meets up with everyone there. He says he has come to take Kakarot away. Everyone wonders what he is talking about but then he explains that Goku is Kakarot. Then he tells Goku that as a child, he was sent to earth to destroy it. He also tells Goku that he is his brother Raditz and that they belong to the saiyan race. A group of beings that take over other planets and sell them to buyers. And also that he and Goku are 2 of the 4 remaining saiyans since their planet Planet Vegeta got destroyed. Of course Goku doesn't believe this but the Master Roshi tells him that his father Grandpa Gohan had found him in a space pod and had taken him into his home as his own child. He says Goku was a mischiefous kid but after hitting his head while falling down a ravine, he became purely good. Raditz tells Goku to destroy the earth now. Goku refuses. Raditz then kidnappes his son and tells him to destroy the earth or he will never see his son again. Then he flies off and no one believes what has happened. Everyone is discussing what to do when suddenly Piccolo appears floating over them. He tells Goku that just for this one time, they should team up and try to defeat this guy. Going against his friends wishes, Goku agrees because he knows Raditz could take him down any day. They use Bulma's dragonball finder to locate Raditz's location since Gohan had that dragonball on his hat. They fly off to them. When they reach them Raditz is amazed and wonders how they found him, then Goku tells him about the dragonball scouter. Goku and Piccolo challenge him and Raditz accepts. Goku and Piccolo take off their weighted clothing and charge at Raditz, but he is too much. He fires a blast at each of them, Goku dodges his but Piccolo gets his left arm chopped off. Piccolo then tells Goku that Raditz is too much and the only chance they have of killing him is to kill him with his new attack called the special beam cannon(makensappo). He also tells Goku that his attack takes about 5 minutes to power up so he will have to buy him som time. So Goku gets into a dogfight with Raditz and give's Piccolo time to power up his new special attack. Goku tries to hit him with the Kamehameha but Raditz blocks it which amazes Goku. Then Raditz whacks him down and Goku is injured. By this time, Piccolo is ready. He fires saying "Special Beam Cannon" but Raditz sees his attack and dodges it just in time. Piccolo is shocked and now knows that Raditz is as fast as the speed of light. Raditz is about to attack the astonished Piccolo when Goku grabs Raditz by his tail which can weaken all saiyans. Then Goku screams at Piccolo to power up his attack again. Piccolo smiles and begins powering up. But then, Raditz starts saying "I'll leave, I'll leave, please just let go of my tail and I'll leave forever." Goku being the good-hearted guy he is, let's go and as we all knew, Raditz whacks him down. Meanwhile locked in a space pod nearby, Gohan sees his dad getting whooped and gets mad as hell. He blasts the space pod and headbutts Raditz in his chest. He cracks Raditz's armor and weakens Raditz. Raditz is infuriated and is about to finish off Gohan when Goku gets him in a full nelson. Then he tells Piccolo to hurry up with his attack. Raditz tries his best to talk his way out but Goku has learned his lesson and he doesn't give in. Then when he is ready, Piccolo fires his special beam cannon and this time he hits raditz. The attack drills a hole through Raditz. Goku is also down. Raditz says to bad Goku has to die too. But Piccolo replies it doesn't matter, his friends can wish him back to life with the dragonballs. But the Raditz says he will have the last laugh cause his scouter is also a transmitter and that 2 other saiyans STRONGER than him have heard everything that has gone on. And that they will be here in 1 year. Awhile later Master Roshi, Bulma, and Krillin arrive and watch Goku die. Piccolo regrows his broken arm with his namek powers and everyone gets a bit scared. Then they take Gohan and are about to leave when Piccolo takes Gohan and says he will be training Gohan personally because he had shown signs of great power in the battle. Of course Krillin and them aren't alright with this but what can they do, Piccolo could kill them all.

The Wait for the Saiyans
After Goku dies, he goes to King Yama. King Yama tells him he can get training from King Kai so he can be prepared for the arrival of the saiyans. So Goku begins his journey on snakeway to King Kai's. Meanwhile on earth, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chaozu, and Yajerobi are summoned to Kami's Lookout to recieve training from him. Piccolo is training Gohan in the wilderness. He leaves Gohan in the wilderness by himself while he does some training by himself. Goku travels snakeway and he comes across a house. He thinks it's King Kai's place so he enters. But he soon finds out that it belongs to Princess Snake. Princess snake is really a snake but Goku manages to escape, becoming the only other person besides King Yama to escape her. So he goes on. He meets up with a street cleaner and catches a ride because snakeway is 10,000 miles long. But while he is sleeping, he falls off snakeway and falls into the the land of no return, otherwise known as HELL(HFIL). Down there he challenges to guys and beats them. They tell him a secret passage leading back to snakeway. He also managed to snag one of the fruits on King Yama's forbidden tree which gave him enough food to last a few months. But when he got out of the secret passage, he ended up crawling out of King Yama's desk. So he has to start all over again. But thanks to King Yama's fruit, he ends up at King Kai's faster than before. At King Kai's, Goku has three tests to pass before he can train under him. First is to tell King Kai a joke, next is to catch his pet monkey Bubbles, and the final to whack his pet cricket Gregory on the head with a mallet. He passes them all. Then King Kai teaches him the kaioken attack and the spirit bomb.

Arrival of Vegeta & Napa
At the beginning of this saga, Goku is at King Kai's training and learning the Kaioken attack and the spirit bomb. While Piccolo is training Gohan in the wilderness on how to use his powers. Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chaozu, and Yajerobi are training on Kami's lookout with Kami and Mr. Popo. Everyone is getting ready for the arrival of the two saiyans. After alot of hard work and hard training, finally the saiyans arrive. They come with a force, destroying the city they land in with the Bakuhatsuha attack. They fly off to Piccolo and Gohan since they have the strongest power levels. But before they start fighting, Krillin, Tien, Chaozu, and Yamcha arrive to help out. Yajerobi the chicken is talking with news crews about the saiyans and the fight. The names of the saiyans are Napa and Vegeta. Napa plants a few seeds in the soil and then pours some sort of green liquid on them. After a few seconds, out of the ground sprout 6 green aliens who Napa calls saibamen. Every one of these saibamen have the powerlevel of Raditz, Goku's evil brother. First to step up is Yamcha. He starts fighting with one of the saibamen and it looks like he has the guy beat. He beats him down and blasts a crater around the guy. He turns towards the other saibamen and is about to attack them when the saibaman he was challenging jumps on Yamcha and clings to him in a way that Yamcha can not escape. Then powering up, the saibamen self destructs, killing himself and sadly Yamcha too. Seeing his friend Yamcha die makes Krillin really really mad. He starts powering up and the 5 saibamen start to flee. Krillin fires his ki blast, the blast flies up and breaks up into several pieces, making a rain-like attack. His attack is a good one and kills 4 of them. The last one was lucky to hide in a cave. Then he sneaks out and tries to attack Gohan. But luckily for Gohan, Piccolo smacks the saibaman away and blows him up with a mouth blast. Napa is astonished. He can't believe that his saibamen were killed so easily. Napa wants to attack our Z-heros but Vegeta stops him and says, "We'll give Kakarot 3 hours to come, if he doesn't, then we will dispose of you worthless pieces of trash. In this time, Piccolo learns that he is a Namek and not an earthling. Vegeta tells him that he is from the Planet Namek and belongs to the Namekian people, a race of peaceful green beings living in the universe. Piccolo can't believe it. There are several news crews covering the fight and also the Navy is near by. So Napa decides to have a little fun while they wait. He blows up a few news helicopters and takes down a Navy ship and some fighter aircrafts easily. By the time he returns to the battle grounds, time is up and Kakarot(Goku) still hasn't arrived from King Kai's. It appears King Kai forgot that it would take at least one day to return to earth through Snake Way so Goku will be about one day late. So the first person Napa goes after is Chaozu. Chaozu shows courage, fighting with all his heart. He gets on to Napa's back and tries his self-destruct attack. Unfortunately, he dies and Napa is still alive. He appears to be stronger than every single one of them. Tien sees his pal go down and he goes mad. He attacks Napa but Napa cuts one of his arms off. Napa finishes Tien off too. So now there are only 3 people left, Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan. Those three make a plan, so Piccolo and Krillin use thier multiple images attack, making three images of each other and they attack. Then when Napa is not looking, they signal Gohan to finish Napa off with a ki blast. But Gohan thinking back to Yamcha and the other guys dying chickens out and runs into hiding. Of course, now they have to make another plan. They plan to get ahold of Napa's tail so they can weaken him like Goku did to Raditz. So Krillin runs straight at Napa, then just before he reaches him, he blasts a ki blast at the ground and floats up. Then while Napa is looking at Krillin wondering what's going on, Piccolo teleports behind Napa and grabs a hold of his tail. Then he screams at Gohan to blast Napa to the next dimension. But when Gohan powers up, Napa some how is unaffected by Piccolo grabing his tail and whacks Piccolo down hard. Everyone can't believe it. Vegeta then explains that Napa and him are more advanced saiyans than Raditz and have grown into it so that they don't feel any pain when someone grabs thier tail. Now everyone understands. So then Napa goes after Krillin. Krillin fights a good battle nearly killing Napa with his famous distructo disc. But Napa dodges it thanks to Vegeta's advice. Then Napa whoops Krillin but doesn't kill him. So after that, Napa goes after Gohan but Gohan whoops him good amazing Piccolo and Napa. This enrages Napa even more. He starts to power up and power up. Then when he is done, he fires his huge attack at Gohan. Gohan is scared stiff and doesn't move. So Piccolo jumps in the way and sacrifices his life for Gohan. The attack renders him powerless. Gohan starts to cry but Piccolo tells him it's o.k and that they can wish him back with the namekian dragonballs. Because if he could create dragonballs, then the people on Planet Namek should be able to create dragonballs too. Piccolo dies and his body vanishes, just like the bodies of Yamcha, Chaozu, and Tien. So Napa then attacks Gohan but Gohan dissapears. Napa turns around and sees Gohan floating on nimbus, Goku's flying cloud. Napa wonders what happened and then he sees Goku. Goku splits a sensu bean in half and gives a half each to Gohan and Krillin. So they are feeling good and back to normal. So Napa tries to attack Goku but Goku uses his newly learned kaioken attack on Napa and he is k.oed. Then Vegeta saw that Napa could be of no use to him anymore so he throws Napa in the air and sends him to the next dimension. Napa goes to hell. Goku tells Krillin and Gohan to go home because Vegeta could catch them and use them as a hostage against him, so they do reluctantly. Goku tells Vegeta that this is not the place to fight so he flies off to a clearing away from human life so no one could get hurt. Then the battle begins. Goku goes at Vegeta showing off his kaioken attack. He goes x1 and x2 but still Vegeta is too strong. So he goes kaioken x3 against King Kai's wishes and this time he whoops Vegeta bad. Vegeta gets pissed and he says "I don't think this stinkin planet, this planet is history!" So he flies up and starts powering up. He's serios says Goku and he does the kaioken x3 again. Then he starts powering up too. When both of them are done, Vegeta screams "Galick Gun...FIRE!" and Goku screams "Kaaaameeehaaameeehaaaaaaaaa!" Thier beams meet in the middle and it looks like they are the same. Vegeta can't believe it, this is his strongest attack. Goku knows there is no other way so he does a kaioken attack x4 and literally blows Vegeta sky high. But he knows Vegeta will be back and he doesn't think he can take it cause the last attacks took alot out of him. Yajerobi is watching by secretly. Vegeta floats back down and he is "as mad as a hornet" as Goku says. He sees there is only one way that he can beat Goku, and that is if he goes oozaru(were-monkey). So he throws up a light emmiting ball in the sky creating a moonlike object. Then he transforms into a were-monkey. His power level multiplies by 10 and now he is unstoppable. He wacks Goku around bad. Meanwhile Krillin and Gohan are flying home when they see the the moon, they are puzzled so they fly back to where Goku and Vegeta are. Back at the battle scene, Goku gathers energy for a spirit bomb. He has enough energy but just before he can form it and use it, Vegeta blasts him with a mouth blast. Then he stomps on Goku. Then he picks up Goku and starts squeezing him. By now Goku is totally powerless. Luckily Gohan and Krillin arrive. They try to cut off Vegeta's tail with Krillin's distructo disc but Vegeta dodges it. But then out of nowhere, Yajerobi jumps out and chops of Vegeta's tail, turning him back to normal. Then Vegeta whoops Krillin. So Gohan gets in a fight with Vegeta. And in that time, Goku gives the energy he gathered from the spirit bomb and gives it to Krillin. Krillin forms a spirit bomb. Then waiting form the right moment, he let's Vegeta have it. But miraculously Vegeta dodges it. So Gohan rebounds it back at Vegeta cause his heart is pure. This time it hits Vegeta and he is blown into the sky. Krillin, Gohan, and Goku are all happy. But then Vegeta's body falls back to earth, and he gets up. He whoops Krillin and Yajerobi. But Goku tells Gohan to look at the artificial moon. He does and starts transforming cause his tail grew back. Now Vegeta is scared. He goes up against Gohan but Gohan whoops him around a bit. But then while in the air, he manages to cut off Gohan's tail. But then Gohan ends up falling on top of him which practically takes his power level down. So Vegeta signals his space pod and crawls to his ship. Krillin takes Yajerobi's sword and wants to kill Vegeta for good, but Goku stops him and tells Krillin to let him go. Krillin reluctantly does and Vegeta flies to Planet Freeza. So ends the saiyan saga.
